Go anywhere but here. We took our daughter to Apple Valley for an eye exam and were told she needed glasses. About $500 later, she started having problems with the glasses, including dizziness and discomfort. We were initially told this was normal while adjusting to a new prescription, so we gave it time. After nearly two months, she was still getting dizzy, so we took her back. They rechecked her eyes and told us, “Oops, the prescription was wrong,” and replaced the lenses. Unfortunately, the dizziness continued. At that point, we decided to get a second opinion. That eye doctor told us our daughter actually had perfect vision and did not need glasses. We were concerned enough that we went to a third eye doctor for another independent opinion, and they told us the same thing. What makes this even more frustrating is how Apple Valley handled it afterward. I contacted them FOUR separate times about what happened. Each time I was told someone would call me back or that the issue would be addressed and we would be refunded. No one ever followed up, and nothing was ever done. Mistakes can happen, but taking responsibility and communicating with your customers matters. After spending $500 on glasses our daughter apparently never needed, dealing with months of dizziness, and then being ignored when we tried to resolve it, I absolutely cannot recommend this place.
