Pleasantly surprised with my visit here. I was sent here due to insurance coverage. Everything was very professional from making my first appointment, the initial office visit to needing a follow -up exam. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and professional. The whole process was very efficient, the office was clean. I so appreciated Dr.Jensen explaining my results and next steps- he was excellent! Would highly recommend this team for your eye care.

Dr. Kartchner is a great diagnostician. He detected a change in each one of my eyes from dry to wet AMD before the retinal specialist. He discusses treatment options, explaining each one thoroughly. He is calm and patient in a very busy office and seems to have all the time in the world to make sure you understand and to listen to your concerns. He always asks if you have any questions. Dr. Kartchner is a skilled cataract surgeon and recently performed cataract surgeries in both of my eyes. Before finalizing the surgery dates, we discussed lens options, what would and would not be options for my situation. The surgeries were performed at the Carondolet Fooothills Surgery Center and went very quickly. Staff at the surgery center were great, very organized, very caring. My results were better than I expected with my macular degeneration and I can now see well enough to drive again! I see Dr. Kartchner at the westside office on Orange Grove. Check in there is always organized. The staff is efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Kartchner, Arizona Eye Consultants and Caronolet Foothills Surgery Center.

The front desk folks and technicians and Dr Levine himself are massively cheerful and pleasant people. I am confident of my eye care in their hands. However, as mentioned to Dr Levine and also to the front desk staff, a team needs to revisit the scheduling. I, and several others who were talking to one another, ended up spending almost 2 hours in there. This is a common experience for this business. The reading of the eye chart, dilation, and pressure took approximately 10 minutes and the visit with Dr Levine approximately the same. That's 20 minutes out of 2 hours. None of us understood why it was taking so long. Please review the scheduling timeline for efficiency and things will be brighter in the future!

I chose AZ Eye Consultants based on online reviews. Every staff from check-in to techs, and assistants were fabulous. Dr Jensen was extrodinary. Just as polite, friendly and caring as the staff. Provided a thorough examination and explained everything in detail. Extremely happy with my choice to try AZ Eye Conultants. They did not disappoint!

Dr Jeff Kartchner is a skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist. Sunday he was on call when I experienced an eye emergency. He met us at his office immediately, and provided the care I needed. We met on Friday, and he removed the lens bandage. Dr K did a complete eye exam and provided guidance to reduce the chances of a recurrence. Everyone at Arizona Eye was warm and wonderful.
