I really liked Dr. Shih and his assistant. Very knowledgeable. I've been twice and appreciated his recommendations. I think he fixed a long standing problem that was misdiagnosed by a different podiatrist. He goes pretty fast and I had to ask for more information both times. Super pleasant Dr. and staff, very efficient. I'm going back.

I have been here twice in 6 months for the same issue and have had no resolve! Ingrown toenail not removed all the way in December and now the Dr tells me it’s nerve pain not my nail. I took x rays and the Dr did not review them with me. Instead he gave me injections and sent me home. The injections did not help and I just called the office to ask for next steps. I was told that the Dr does not do any calls, is out of the country, and I should find a new podiatrist. Oh and btw if you want those c rats we didn’t look at with you it’s $35 for them on a disc. This was a waste of insurance benefits and time.

Very pleased with my first appointment at Head to Toe! The office staff were all very helpful and professional. Dr Shih does speak rather quickly, but just ask and he will slow down!

My experience was a positive one. From the initial interaction with the receptionist where I was greeted right away and checked in quickly to when I saw Dr. Shih. He asked lots of questions and explained things as needed. Dr. Shih treated me with respect and gave me injections that I needed. He was really efficient and quoted prices for the available options which I really appreciated. I will definitely return for future treatments.

I initially felt very heard and well cared for by Dr. Shi at Head to Toe for my severely damaged fascia. He recommended shockwave therapy, which did help my fascia pain. Over time, I developed what turned out to be a serious staph infection and cellulitis on the top of my foot. I didn’t realize it was an infection at first and thought it was related to my skin allergies, but my foot became increasingly red and weeping while I was under his care. During this period, it was very difficult to access the doctor directly without being charged. His staff took weekly pictures of my foot which was progressively getting worse, but I was never able to see him without an additional charge, which felt wrong given how serious the situation was. I am now seeing a podiatrist who checks on me during shockwave treatments at no extra cost, which really highlighted all the extra fees I was being charged before. The only consistently positive part of my experience was the wonderful women who gave me the shockwave therapy—they were kind, supportive, and professional. Overall, I left feeling that the practice operates more like a money machine than a patient-centered clinic, especially when complications arise.
