Dr. Hinton is wonderful! I have been a patient of his for over 5yrs. He did my lasik surgery about 5yrs ago. The results were even better than I had hoped! He also sees me on a regular basis for other non-related to lasik issues. He is always friendly, professional, thorough, and makes sure I have no further questions before leaving his office. I also love that he is a devoted husband and family man. I think it makes him so much more relatable! I will always go to him, until the sad day he retires.

My husband had cataract surgery a year ago. A film grew over the lens. Dr. Hinton laser removed the film. He explained the procedure very well and it was quick and painless! Thank you. Plus the staff is so professional and friendly.

Gentsler Eye Center is always very patient centered, thorough, caring and communicative. dr. Hinton was very helpful as has Dr. Gentsler been in the past. They take great care of my vision and always have my best interest in mind.

My wife and I are Dr. Hinton’s patients in his Lawrence office. We really like the kind and professional office staff and we have the utmost confidence and respect for Dr. Hinton’s skills. He performed my 2 cataract surgeries and I had no issues. My vision is amazing. I now wish I had not waited to have the surgery. Dr. Hinton is respectful and listens to our concerns and patiently answers all our questions. He does thorough diabetic exams for my wife. We would highly recommend Dr. Hinton. He is an excellent Ophthalmologist and eye surgeon.

Mom needs cataract surgery, so after seeing a retina specialist, we made an appointment at Genstler. Helen walked us through the first steps of the appointment, performing all of the tests & checks on her eyes. She was delightful and very knowledgeable. Then we saw Dr. Hinton. He took his time with us, making sure we understood all of the next steps, including just enough details about the surgery to reassure mom without unnecessarily scaring her. We feel confident that her surgery with Dr. Hinton will be successful.
