Dr. Mac was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain the punctal plug treatment clearly, which I really appreciated. The staff was also wonderful—Carmen was so attentive and helped me select frames that fit my face perfectly. Highly recommend this team!!
Dr. Mac is great. He is very friendly and does a great job of explaining everything to me. He gets to know you as more than a patient. He clearly discusses the link between my diabetes and my vision with how important it is to keep it under control. He has a great memory and remembers conversations from previous visits that are clearly not in my notes. The rest of the staff is great as well. They are super friendly and kind.
Friendly staff! Answered all my question and even provided information I didn’t know I needed. Dr. Mac is very thorough and explained what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. Carmen at the front desk was extremely helpful
Dr. Mac and his staff are most definitely the best optometry team in the area. Due to the care that Dr. Mac and his team provide, my husband and I actually travel or 60 miles to make our appointments at Berryessa Optometry, and we will continue to do so. This team is great!!
Update: I visited again for my eye exam this year. Dr. Mac was a great doctor who explained everything clearly, I don’t want to try my luck with another eye doctors. He is as great as last year, discussed my eye health. Also explained that the try on contact lenses last year was a rare request among customers, so they didn’t have a lot of inventory. He suggested to try something else for contact lenses this year, and I also got a new pair of prescription glasses at a reasonable price. I visited on September 2021. The doctor was great, did a through exam and explained everything clearly. He was also humor to talk to. I was happy, figuring find a place I can trust. Before I left, he gave me few pairs of contact lenses to take home for try on. I wasn’t aware until I was putting the last pair that those try on lenses were expired on December 2019. They should check their inventory more carefully, so do you before leaving.
