LOVE this shop. - Amazing customer service. Mitchell helped with decision fatigue bringing options. Disappearing for moments to make space for thinking. - The frames you’d come to Portland for (much wider variety of stylized and normal than anywhere Ive found) - Great vibes. Music was fun. Sofas were fun. - Really easy to work with insurance. - Higher end frames so know that coming in.
I’ll explain why they don’t get five stars from me after I tell you the good stuff. The selection is pretty good (but let’s face it, if you find frames you like, just go online to buy them a lot cheaper). The service is civil and they take time when it’s clear you’re going to be dropping serious money. But, after dropping about 400 dollars on lenses (I brought my own frames to them) and I asked for a box to put my new glasses in, they said “Ten dollars”. Really? After all the dough I just spent? It left a bitter taste in my mouth and I probably won’t go back because of that petty gesture. Ironically, the frames were purchased from them two years earlier for a few hundred dollars. Not a good way to end what was a good experience. They lost my business in less than a minute.
Amazing eyewear, even more amazing staff! They have TONS is styles, way more than most optometrists, they help you figure out how to get the most out of your insurance even if you’re not quite sure how, they’re SUPER fast, they work with frames you bring in not just their own, the optometrists are friendly, and they offer you ice coffee while you shop! My favorite Portland spot for glasses!
Just stopped by here on an errand day on a whim and had a great experience! A couple of weeks ago my toddler bent the heck out of my frames, I tried to fix it myself but they’ve been wiggly and were driving me nuts. They helped me quickly and were so nice about it, and spent the time to make sure the fit was how it used to be. I will definitely be back when I need a new pair!
The doctor and staff were all amazing. Kind, and helpful. I am so glad a friend recommended them. Their frame selection was also pretty amazing. 6 stars- highly recommend having this team take care of you!
