Buck Vision Care Next To Walmart

I only saw Dr Buck 1 time, we're from out of state and new to San Antonio, TX. His office staff was friendly, scheduled my appt promptly, saw me promptly, and there were no issues. Dr Buck was also friendly, professional, and gentle with my eyes, and no issues. My exam with him resulted in me needing cataract surgery. He recommended Parkhust, gave me one of their brochures, but I did a lot of Google research and chose Dr Lehmann at Focal Point Vision in Shertz, TX. Today is the day after my cataract surgery with Dr Lehmann and wow, I can see! Dr Lehmann and his entire staff were and are amazing! I'm very impressed with my experience with Dr Lehmann, so I'm puzzled as to why Dr Buck didn't recommend Dr Lehmann? This is my only "issue" with Dr Buck. He seems like a very nice, caring, good doctor, but again, I only saw him once and I'm puzzled by why he recommended Parkhurst and didn't even mention Dr Lehmann, who clearly is an expert with cataract surgeries. Other than him not recommending Dr Lehmann, I really have no issues with Dr Buck. Update, 5/12, saw Dr Buck today for my 1 week cataract surgery follow up and Dr Buck deserves the 5 star reviews! I asked him about why he recommended Parkhust and he was not defensive at all, which I believe reveals his good character and caring for his patients! He recommended Parkhust because his mother in law had her cataract surgery done at Parkhurst and her outcome was good. Dr Buck was so caring and happy about my great experience with Dr Lehmann, he said he will now also recommend Dr Lehmann too, since he's now seen the great outcome in my left eye from my cataract surgery with Dr Lehmann. Dr Buck is an upstanding man! He really is a great doctor who cares about his patients! I feel so blessed and thankful to have Dr Buck and Dr Lehmann by my side for all my vision care needs! The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful and even lived in the city where I was born and raised. You don’t get that often so I like this place. I’d recommend this place to anyone needing and eye exam. The place was also clean and smelled good

I recently took my daughter to Buck Vision Care for her eye exam, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire experience. Dr. Buck was wonderful with her—patient, kind, and very thorough in explaining everything in a way she could understand. He took the time to make her feel comfortable and at ease throughout the exam, which made a big difference in reducing any anxiety she had. The staff was also incredibly welcoming, and the office had a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Dr. Buck’s attention to detail and his ability to connect with my daughter made the visit both educational and enjoyable for her. I’m so happy with the care she received and will definitely be returning for her future eye exams.
