Carolina Eye Care - Huntersville

Coming here as a patient was fine but their office hours are inconsistent. I came by today (Thursday) after work needing to pick up a copy of my prescription after noting the hours on Google to be until 6 on Thursdays. When I arrived, the office was locked. Also, their hours on their door said until 7. Please be consistent in your communication and signage across platforms.

The staff is friendly, wait times are appropriate (I bring either work or a book with me), and the doctor is thorough with her care. This office does not see younger children, but I have had great experiences since coming here as an adult for routine eye care.

I was very well treated by the entire staff. Dr. Hamidiani was terrific, explaining thoroughly about the condition of my cataracts and the options for treatment. I appreciate having my existing eyeglasses cleaned and adjusted. Appointments there have always been a good experience.

Having moved to Cornelius last year, I’m in the process of changing eye doctors - and suddenly had an eye emergency! I’d done a lot of research locally, and, as a vet, was very impressed that all three of the female doctors in this practice have previously worked for the VA. I’d made an appt for March, but then started having bright white flashes and floaters in one eye. I didn’t know where else to turn, so simply showed up here after work with no appt. Super stressed and scared. I will never forget how kind everyone in the office was, so welcoming and calm. Dr. Meagan Miles took me back immediately, did a thorough exam and quickly let me know what was happening. (Actually pretty normal.) Her professionalism and empathy were very appreciated, and when I left, I realized she (and the staff) had stayed an extra half hour to help me. I’ll never forget that kindness, and am so happy this will be my new eye care home!

Super friendly staff across the board. I have seen both Dr. H and Dr. Miles since I have been coming here the past couple of years and they are both excellent. They have competitive pricing on contacts with super fast delivery. And I am always able to get an appointment to fit my schedule without having to book it 6 months in advance. Thanks for the job well done every time I am in, keep up the great work.
