I had a fantastic experience! The staff was amazing—very helpful, patient, and understanding. They really took the time to listen and helped me figure out my next steps clearly. Their professionalism and kindness made the process so much easier. Highly recommend their excellent service!

The doctor was excellent, and I have no concerns with the quality of care provided. Unfortunately, my experience with the front receptionist was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I was asked to complete paperwork. While standing at the counter filling out the forms I had just been given, the receptionist informed me that I needed to move away from the counter because my presence there was supposedly a HIPAA violation. When I asked for clarification, she stated that confidential information was displayed on her computer screens. However, from where I was standing, I could only see the backs of the monitors and had no visibility into any information on them. She then explained that she takes phone calls involving patients' personal information. While that may be true, I was never asked for any sensitive information during my own phone interactions with the office. More importantly, during this visit I did not observe her taking any phone calls, nor would I expect confidential conversations to be conducted on speakerphone in a public area. Ironically, the only personal information visible at that moment was my own, as I was actively completing the paperwork they had asked me to fill out. The entire interaction felt unnecessary, confrontational, and unprofessional. I was made to feel as though I was doing something wrong simply by following the instructions I had been given. Had the appointment not been for both my daughter and I, I would have seriously considered leaving and finding another provider. While the doctor was outstanding, the conduct of the receptionist left such a negative impression that I am contemplating moving my family's eye care elsewhere. There is no reason to treat patients in this manner or to imply they are violating laws when they are simply complying with staff instructions.

They did awesome with my 8 year old! My 4 year old was very curious. Tara was very kind and allowed her to watch every step of the way. Definitely grateful to have them in the East Mountains!

Upon entering the office, I was greeted by the receptionist with a smile and welcoming attitude. My wait was about 5 minutes before Marisol invited me to accompany her to an exam room. Marisol was very professional, efficient, polite and personable. Marisol completed her assessment and exam. My wait for Dr. Vise was about 5 minutes. He was accompanied by a staff member who entered Dr. Vise's measurements and recommendations. He completed his exam and provided me with several options relative to contact lens. I meet with Rachel, who interviewed me for my preferences for glasses and contacts. After her measurements, she escorted me to the eye glass displays for me to browse the many selections. I did not feel hurried or rushed to complete my selection for eye wear. Rachel fitted the frames and took measurements for the bifocal lens. She reviewed the prom covered by my insurance and the asked my preference for paying the balance due. My new insurance provider provided a payment method included in my annual policy. My out of pocket expenses were all covered by my insurance provider. An excellent experience at Cedar Crest Vision, Dr. Vise and all of the staff.
