My husband and I had appointments today with Dr Damon at the Medford location. His time spent listening to my concerns (eye damage due to excessive computer work/screen time) and answering questions was very helpful. I felt his example was very robust and considered options for me that fit my lifestyle (prescription glasses both for daily living and also for computer use) was fantastic. Highly recommend My husband ended up also seeing him later this afternoon for his own appt / and felt Dr Damon really listened and consulted in a partnership on the type of contacts that work best for him. Hope y'all give them a try if you aren't already customer of the Medford location

This is my favorite eye care place ever. I wear glasses and contact lenses; they do such a great job getting my eyes to see! 😃. The front office staff is always helpful and friendly. I was scheduled for the Medford location but was on a waitlist for an earlier appointment. They contacted me and offered a slot in Ashland, it worked out great. I have vision insurance through my medical policy. A coworker of mine goes here and had issues at first with this same thing but, eventually, it got billed correctly. I tried to call and make a new patient appointment (my old provider Dr. Hansen moved here and I wanted to follow him) and she said she couldn’t bill through medical insurance. Just seems like they are excluding a lot of people who don’t have a separate vision policy. Frustrating and not worth the hassle. Dr. Hansen, if you see this, you’re awesome. I tried to come see you because you are someone I trust and my prescription is always spot on after I see you. Best of luck to you!

The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about their work. Tessa is extremely knowledgeable about her job and very caring for her patients. I’ve been with her for many years and she is very helpful to me and explains everything I need to know.

I'd give less stars honestly if I didn't like Dr. Jonhston so much...but unfortunately I don't like anyone enough to deal with this office. I followed my doctor to this place and have had one appointment which was great but when it came to picking frames they had none that would fit me as I am more on the petite side. I was able to purchase my frames from another eye care clinic but didn't even think about the fact that by doing so I have no warranty now on my frames. By the time I realized that detail it was already too late as I had used my insurance benefit for my exam and would have to pay out of pocket for another doctor's exam to get my glasses from a different place. Here's the big upset for me. When my frames were shipped I took them in to order my lenses as well as two packs of colored contacts and paid CASH for these items. I was advised that my frames and contacts would be in at the same time so when my glasses came back pretty quickly (about a week after they were ordered) but not my contacts I wasn't too worried about it at first as I was originally told 5-7 business days but then once we hit that time frame I called the office to follow-up. I was transferred to three different people who all told me that they didn't see my order for my contacts before I was finally asked who took my order and placed me back on hold. Finally the gal who actually helped me got on the line and said that yes, I did in fact order contacts but that she didn't order them correctly and the transaction never went through. Entirely unimpressed and having ZERO intentions on giving them ay more of my money I told her to cancel the transaction and refund my money. It just shouldn't be so hard to get contacts order or ordered correctly. I'll be picking up my refund check from them and unfortunately finding a new optometrist. Preferably one that uses the Marlo platform so I can effortlessly order my contacts by myself.
