The office staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Bang was very precise and informative. Her bedside manner is straightforward and to the point. She is great for a patient who is a straight shooter, but not as ideal for someone looking for warm and welcoming doctor.

From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was welcoming, courteous, and efficient. Check-in was smooth, and they made sure I felt comfortable while waiting. It’s clear they value customer service and first impressions. The sales associate was equally helpful—knowledgeable without being pushy. They took the time to walk me through my options, explain pricing clearly, and helped me find frames that fit both my style and budget. I appreciated the transparency and patience throughout the process. A special thank you to Dr. Bang, who was thorough, attentive, and very easy to talk to. The exam didn’t feel rushed, and Dr. Bang took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I felt confident in the care and recommendations provided. Overall, the experience was professional, efficient, and genuinely customer-focused. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for quality eye care and great service.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Clarkson Eyecare, and I would not recommend this location. When I initially called to schedule an appointment, my call was answered and then placed on hold for approximately 20 minutes before anyone assisted me. Once the appointment was scheduled, I provided all requested information, including my son’s insurance details and member ID. The representative explicitly confirmed that the optometrist accepted our insurance. On the day of the appointment, locating the office was unnecessarily confusing. The signage shown online does not match the current signage at the physical location, and the office is described as a Vinings location even though it is actually in Smyrna. This lack of clarity caused delays and frustration. Fifteen minutes before the appointment, I called the office to confirm the correct address. Again, my call was answered and then placed on hold for over 30 minutes. By the time someone returned to the line, I was already past my appointment time. Given the circumstances and the continued delays, I chose not to attend, as it was no longer feasible with my schedule. I later called back to reschedule and experienced additional excessive hold times, totaling nearly an hour. I was eventually offered another appointment with the same doctor later that day. Upon arriving, I waited over an hour and was required to complete paperwork that I had already submitted previously. To make matters worse, I was then informed that my insurance might not be accepted, despite having already provided the insurance information and receiving prior confirmation that it was accepted. Overall, the lack of organization, inconsistent communication, excessive wait times, and insurance confusion reflect poor operational management. This experience was a significant waste of time, and I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution or seek care elsewhere.

Always a pleasure to go to my annual eye appointment. The staff is organized, professional, and personable. I am always seen promptly, provided explanation for what is being tested, and the results of such. Dr. Phi Bang is thorough, works in a timely manner, and is always in good humor. I trust her without reservation, as many other family members do. A1.

My experience was awesome. Dr. Bang is the best eye doctor that I have ever seen. the staff is great. I got my new glasses in 4 days and they are perfect. thank you all of you.
