I will never forget how this clinic treated my family 3 days postpartum with my son. I was a first time mom and extremely overwhelmed. I came to this appointment for a check up and to get some help with breastfeeding for my son. Dr. Dixon came in and verbatim said, “Aw that’s a hunger cry! Your baby is starving.” and told me to give him formula. I will never forget the feeling I had hearing that statement. I started asking questions about his latch, about his weight, about pumping instead of formula, about a possible tongue tie and all were dismissed. It was just reiterated that he was starving. She left the room and I truly was a mess. I felt sick to my stomach. Looking back on this I cannot ever imagine telling a first time mom that. I was so caught up in the moment and thinking I was doing everything wrong, I can’t be a parent, and that I have failed my son. I ended up switching doctors immediately and we ended up taking him to an ENT where he was diagnosed with a significant tongue tie. Got that fixed and he was latching almost instantly. Please please please stay far away from this clinic and Dr. Kimberly Dixon. I am fearful for other first time mom’s who come here and are dismissed and patronized. You know what’s best for your baby. You come to a pediatrician for wellness checks, vaccines, weigh ins, not to be shamed and dismissed.

I recently visited this office for dental care and will not be returning. I came in expecting treatment for a filling and a cleaning, but my experience with Dr. Hosseini was disappointing. He wanted to “smooth” (shave down) my teeth, and when I declined, his attitude changed and I felt dismissed and disrespected as a patient. What stood out most was hearing him tell staff that rooms needed to be cleared for patients receiving “actual treatments.” Shortly afterward, despite being asked by the nurse to wait while she finished entering my information, I was told to leave the room and wait in the lobby. I was also supposed to receive a cleaning, but after this interaction I was suddenly told there was no time available and that I would need to schedule a separate appointment. When I tried to do so, I was informed that the next available cleaning appointment was three months away. Between the poor bedside manner, feeling dismissed after declining a procedure, and the excessive wait time for routine care, I cannot recommend this office. There are much better dental options in Bakersfield.
Specialist did not take the time to listen to my concerns. They didn’t completely fill out my paperwork and I was instructed to make a telephone visit the next time instead of an in person visit . It takes 4 months to get an appt and they are constantly changing your primary Dr. After the unsatisfactory of my visit today , I immediately got on the phone and found a new Dr .
Nursing staff wearing the Clinica Sierra Vista uniforms came into my work for lunch and were extremely rude and unprofessional. Even when off of work or out for lunch, when wearing your uniform you are representing the company you work for. They had no manners and tried to rush staff throughout their interaction. They sat and took their time eating like they were in no actual rush, but wanted to be snappy with staff. I believe it was their manager or higher up, Laura Dominguez, that was talking to us disrespectfully and brushing us off. Rethink visiting Clinica Serra Vista. If they can’t even be nice to restaurant staff, how will they treat you?
I hate coming here and I'm glad I canceled future appointments. They only give you a 5 min. grace period for appointments. I'm disabled, we can't find parking and live in Rosedale. Therapy is only 15 min long and it's not worth it for me. The lobby is always crowded full of people. Last appointment I waited over 30 min for the psychiatrist and they didn't cancel the appointment. But I was 2 min late for the therapist and they marked me as a "no show". Where's my consideration for this appointment?
