I’m not sure why this center has low reviews. I visited today for a glasses exam and had a wonderful experience. I saw Dr. Nguyen, he was so polite and my eye exam was great. I was seen on time and his nurse was so nice. I highly recommend this vision center. The insurance approval process was a breeze and they have a lot of really nice, reasonably priced frames.

From the individual optometrist to the staff at the glasses counter... dont want to go anywhere else! I wish I could give more than 5 stars, especially to Darcy! She has been a rock star!
Absolutely horrible experience, wish there was a minus star option. I was very skeptical to come here in the first place, because all the bad reviews. Even when I drop the script off I told the girl that I have had problems with the measurement of the PD, she only did it once, didn't even care about what I told her. I wanted to believe my first experience was an user error and that's why my PD was measured wrong. When I received the glasses, immediately felt wrong, gave a few tries to see if it was me needing to adjust to them. I do not have that much of prescription. I kept having headaches, dizziness, my eyes felt like if there were crossing. When back to the store to try and get them fixed. Teddy who works there was super rude, arrogant, did not help at all. All he did was argue with me about me being wrong when I was providing him with facts that my PD was wrong. I had called my previous glasses store to ask about my PD because it felt off. He kept saying his PD measuring tools were all correct and the difference was minimal. For a person that works at a prescription eyeglass shop he should know better. Even 1 mm difference makes a big difference in your vision. I explained PD doesn't change, even told him I have been having headaches, and my eyes feel like they are crossing. He didn't care. Funny how he even tells me he is not going to argue with me, after that's all he did. PD doesn't not change over time, period. Ended up returning the glasses, never to make any ever with them again. Absolutely do not recommend!
This comment is for the optometrist office and not the optical center. I’ve visited this office 2 or 3 times in the past: once or twice with Dr. Hutchinson and once with Dr. Nguyen. I’ve never had any issues. I called this morning and the staff member that answered the phone had the customer service skills of a walrus. I have a new insurance so, of course, I’m not going to know the name by heart. First, she immediately goes to try to set the appointment but before that I want to confirm they take my insurance because a voicemail noted they only take two now. She asks me what insurance I have and I state “I’m not sure” as I’m scrolling through my emails to check and she rudely states “well how am I supposed to check if you don’t know.” That statement was unnecessary. Maybe try to help current and future patients by (1) confirming the types of insurance that the office does accept and (2) offering guidance like: Is it maybe connected to your health insurance? Do you maybe have an email with this information? Would you like to set up the appointment now and circle back later in the day with the insurance information? Disappointed and not impressed.
I've used Costco Optical for years for both my eye exams and my glasses. I have to thank one of the optometrists who found a potentially serious condition that required follow up with an MD. Thankfully it was a false alarm, but it was essential that it get evaluated. Aldo, you will never beat the Costco prices on any of their eyewear products. My order has always arrive on time, and I've only had great experiences with them.
