A BIG THANK YOU to Adrian! He was exceptional in taking care of me today! He adjusted my glasses and helped getting a prior pair updated to my current prescription. Wait time was minimal and a great experience! We've been getting our glasses at this Costco for several years now..always excellent service!

Rude & condescending. I joined Costco specifically for the optical department. I need to replace my glasses and they have good pricing. I brought in my existing frames because I really like them and they aren’t that old. The only issue I have is the glare coating is peeling in my sight of vision so the lenses need a replacement. I have a lot of eye issues so I already see another ophthalmologist and had my new prescription. When the optician looked at the glasses she basically told me they were old warped garbage that was made poorly and the lens stick out past the frame. I informed the optometrist that my prescription is so high that even thin lenses stick out and aren’t thin. While I can accept that I need to buy new frames and was ready to do so but I didn’t need the side of rude & condescending. At no point did they even offer to show me any frames I may like as a replacement. The glasses in question are $500 Coach glasses purchased from my optometrist in 2023. Certainly not garbage. At no point did I try and argue that the frames could be used. I did ask why they couldn’t just so I know in the future not to buy expensive frames that deteriorate too quickly. However I was there ready to buy but I refuse to give my money to a store where the associates are rude to customers. I left and went to customer service and asked for a refund of my newly purchased membership. Was so turned off by the experience I didn’t even wish to check out the rest of the warehouse. Thank you to the optical department for saving me the $300 I would have impulse spent in the store today if they were nice.

Costs are very hit or miss depending on insurance. The cost of the lenses was much more than I expected even with insurance coverage. The vision exam was fast and efficient. I didn’t spend much time waiting. If you’re looking to get frames though, prepare to wait a while.

Just go to your local optometrist. The savings isn’t worth how rudely they treat you. I’m calling out the male long gray-haired technician and the male redheaded optometrist (elliot sloas). Foot traffic and no repeat customers are how they stay in business I’m guessing. The ladies among the staff were really nice however.

Dr Elliot Sloas is great and will take time and answer all your questions. Glasses department is another story. First time getting glasses from here. The first time this happened, I was told it was a manufacturing error and that it would be a one-time fix. Well, here we are again with the same issue. I won't be getting glasses from here again.
