I was very disappointed with the level of customer service I received today. I have been trying to call the office since 10:00 AM, which is the time they are supposed to open, but no one answered. Later, I received a call back from the staff at the eye exam office, who informed me that I had missed my appointment. I explained that I had been calling repeatedly since 10:00 AM to confirm my appointment time, but no one answered. When she asked if I had left a message, I explained that I had not because I had been actively calling.
I arrived at the office at 10:30 AM, only to find out my appointment had been scheduled for 10:15 AM. When I spoke with the staff member, she was dismissive and spoke to me in a rude tone, stating that they could not see me that day. I understand policies regarding missed appointments, and I would have been willing to pay any associated fees and reschedule. However, the lack of understanding and the unprofessional tone made me reconsider returning to this office.
Customer service is a critical part of any business, and it’s disappointing when staff fail to handle situations with empathy and professionalism. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a better experience for other patients in the future.
