My husband went to order contacts and unfortunately was stuck with a condescending guy named Dillon. My husband had several questions about glasses and it was his first time wanting to purchase them. Dillon acted like my Mexican husband was not worth his time and unable to afford anything. He couldn’t be bothered to act like he knew how to do his job or answer any questions without pulling teeth. I hope no one has to encounter him and his attitude again. We’ve never been treated so horribly at Costco before.

I had gone to americas best before for my contact prescription. The optometrist here at Costco was great and got my prescription corrected from Americas best and I can 100% tell the difference. He took time to answer my questions and explain what different things meant in the tests that they run. I didn’t find the staff rude at all, the one gal at the front of the office was quieter and that’s it. Getting my glasses afterward was also fast and efficient but I might have just came at the right time of day. Overall, a lot better experience than my previous ones.

Were given an incorrect prescription, did not order glasses until 4 months after my exam. When glasses were recieved (single vision) they were clearly a computer prescription, not usable for everyday. When I called the reliably rude receptionist, not even angry about the wasted cash on a pair of glasses, I was told without a trace of empathy that we would need to pay for a new exam. No sorry for your trouble, nothing. Just that WE were a liability. Also, don't forget to ask for a PD measurement, not a given. So frustrated and disappointed, I feel ripped off, frankly.

I've been going here for a few years now and just went again for my yearly check-up. Wow, they are so helpful and kind compared to my last vision doctor. This business has no real affiliation with Costco but Costco's rates on lenses are very affordable and it's right there. I will be going here from now on. Not sure why I thought somewhere else might be better, just stick with Costco and places they endorse or support. Oh and they don't accept vision insurance, which I've realized i need to drop anyway. I went back in '24; scheduling was very easy, doc was very kind and very thorough for updating my contact script. Great service!

4.16.2024 Terrible, I’ve called numerous times when initially trying to get an appointment and always got the answering machine. Finally booked appointment online and then got a call a week later that it had to be rescheduled. We rescheduled and then a few days later only to get an email that someone cancelled our appts. again and put them on a different date. Those dated and times were not verified with us. So I called and Angela answered, I told her I was disappointed with this process and we haven’t even seen the optometrist yet and this had not been a great first impression. I asked her to cancel the appointments and we’d go somewhere else. She quickly said ok and hung up. Unfortunately this was not an amazing experience.
