Dr. Doan was so sweet and helpful! Unfortunately, my experience with the receptionist/front desk was the complete opposite. I hate leaving bad reviews, but especially in a medical/optometry office, I feel patients should be able to ask questions about pricing and treatment without feeling rushed or uncomfortable. I called today around 11 AM because I just wanted to clarify a few things about the additional cost and whether the recommended treatment would actually help before spending more money. The receptionist was extremely rude and actually hung up on me while I was speaking, literally in the middle of my sentence. I really hope management can check the phone records and listen to that call. I couldn’t speak directly with Dr. Doan or the person responsible for hiring because the phone goes straight to the receptionist. Dr. Doan was wonderful, but I really hope the management team addresses the front desk/customer service. Patients deserve to feel heard and comfortable asking questions about their care and costs.

The staff is mostly friendly and helpful but there are a couple of employees that need an attitude adjustment. They could be more friendly and conversational. The prescription seems fine, but they automatically include all the scratch, glare and blulight coatings. The blulight coating is amber in color and makes everything look off as far as color. Whites don't look white. I just had cataract surgery and my vision was finally clear and free of amber tones. With the coatings on my new glasses I feel like my cataracts are back. I spoke to them at Costco and was told all glasses come that way and there is no way to opt out, even though if you Google Costco and clear blulight protection it does say they offer it. Not true at my store, I confirmed it at the store. I won't be buying my next glasses at Costco.

Dr. Doan is amazing and I’m pretty sure the bad reviews are about the former eye doctor. Got contacts exam ( yes it also includes physical glasses exam , which means u will get two prescriptions) last week. Tried so many different normal contacts (such as Acuvue & coopervision) and colored contacts before but every single brand felt horrible in my eyes due to the condition of serious dry eyes and allergy😭😫 They wouldn’t even last for 2 hours while I was always applying eye drops . But Dr. Doan took a very good care of me and gave me the only contacts prescription which fits my dry eyes ( Bosch & Lomb Infuse)! Did some research on it, it has high water content and high oxygen transmission rate that’s why it can last for 5 hours at least without any discomfort in my eyes! 💕💕🥰🥰 She also recommended a treatment for my eye allergy ! She’s the best! Will definitely drop by again for future services and will recommend Dr. Doan to my friends!

As most often is the case the Costco staff are knowledgeable and professional. The two Eye Docs at this location are superb in every way Dr Doan & Dr Cheurn are impressive as is their office assistant. The state of the art equipment here make for a far better and comfortable examination.

Usually I think Costco treats its members at a high standard so my recent experience didn't match my expectation. We ordered three pairs of glasses for family members (yeh, we are near-sight family..) and when we pick up, we were only given two, saying the third one was not ready. I checked after one month, and was told the 3rd pair was already there when we picked up the two. I understand occasional overlook, what motivated me to this review is the rude tone of the guy who answered my phone. He didn't apologize as if it were my fault and I didn't feel he care this matter at all. While, if this is your department job where you get your salary, then you need to care, at least pretending it. I later want to double check the glass is physically there so I called again. A lady answered the phone and I feel she was understandable and polite. That's why I give 3 star instead of 1 star.
