Nate the bald guy attending was so completely rude, we asked for help AFTER doing the check in TWICE and not getting any service. Not to mention a lady we HELPED check in by QR code went before us??? We were waiting for awhile. We went to ask what that was about, and that’s when the man was extremely rude. Telling us to check in and NOT listening when we told him we already HAD. Treating us like idiots instead of offering any sort of help. Worst of all? We were trying to pick up my mom’s bday gift of glasses she got. He made her cry for her birthday. Miserable worker making other people miserable. Let’s all stop giving people like THAT jobs with customer service.

I had a very disappointing experience on Sunday, November 10, around 1:00 PM. The lady at the eye counter was extremely rude. I was assisted by an older woman who spoke Spanish, and we went to her precisely because we realized she spoke Spanish, so it would be more comfortable for us. However, her attitude was very rude and impatient from the start. She insisted multiple times that I go with another associate, even though I explained that I wasn’t in a hurry and preferred to be helped by her. It seemed like she didn’t want to assist me, only my husband, even though we came in together and expected to be served together. Additionally, she refused to accept my husband’s glasses, claiming they were too big for him. When I presented the glasses I had chosen, she didn’t even take a close look before dismissing them, saying they were too big as well. The way she spoke was incredibly dismissive and rude. Due to the poor service, my husband and I decided not to make a purchase. We left feeling very unsatisfied and disappointed. We won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this location for optical services.
Honestly, I don't understand why the vision center has 3 stars. We had a fantastic experience from the vision exam to our experience selecting glasses. Gary was fabulous! He helped me find the right glasses that complimented my face shape and skin complexion. He really took the time to hear my concerns and ensure I was completely satisfied with my selection. He made some fabulous recommendations. I'm excited about my purchase and feel confident in what I'll be rocking. Our optometrist was fabulous too. He was very thorough. I highly recommend giving the vision center a try.
Called ahead of time and asked if my insurance was in network, to which they said yes. Took an entire day off to get new glasses, got in early, filled out the paperwork and was casually told my insurance was not in network afterall. Huge waste of time. You'd think an optomotrist office would at least be able to verify insurance.
The optometrist and their little corner are awesome. The Costco side of things, not so much. Every time I’ve been in Costco, the employees are overly nice. Not this time. The lady at the eye counter was extremely rude. I chalked it up to a language barrier. Not the case. Questioned how much my insurance pays, argued with me about how many boxes of contacts I was getting, and failed completely at customer service. I had to explain to the manager how reimbursement insurance works before they would give me my contacts (money in hand). How much my insurance pays is none of their business. I know how my insurance works. There is no need to argue with me about it.
