Costco Optical

We were turned away because we were not executive members and it was 9:30am. All I wanted to do was look at the prescription glasses and the guy in front said “You can look them at 10am.” I’ll buy my glasses someplace else.

I was fortunate enough to have and appointment with Dr. Annie Wolff this morning. She is well beyond compare, a true professional. She worked within the confines of a less than sterling situation, I am deaf. I have been with this location for 10 plus years. I have had nothing but excellent experience with the entire staff. Dr. Wolff exceeds all expectations, is compassionate in her rendering of a dianosis and possible solutions, prescribing exceedingly well thought out prescriptions. I cannot give her, nor this location, a higher rating. If possible, I would. I am well beyond ten years with this location and have yet to experience anything negative. This location. The staff. Dr. Wolff herself is exactly what anyone could hope for in a quality location. Unfortunately, this is rare.

I was seen during the week about 7 weeks ago. The optometrist tried telling me my prescription was too high and causing my eyes to be lazy. He tried telling me they were off by 3 points, which struck me as odd. Then after trying some that he was going to order for me, and telling him they made me feel like I was drunk or looking through a fish eye lense, he told me my eyes would need time to adjust. After talking with him more he decided to order some a bit stronger (but not close to where I was comfortably in my current prescription) and they'd call when they were in. After 6 weeks of waiting I decided to renew through 1-800-contacts, which was quick and easy. I received my new contacts with the same prescription I've had for years in 3 business days. Why has it been almost 2 months and still no word from you that you have the ones that he ordered, when I got these in less than a week? Would not recommend at all unless you wanna walk around seeing the world through beer goggles and wait forever to receive something that come to find out was never even ordered! SMH for this optical teams inability to do right by their customers.

The customer service here is SO good and the prices are great too. I bought glasses here almost 2 years ago and they are still going strong. Roman is always so helpful, especially today. My glasses kept breaking (lenses falling out, screws loose, etc) but he FIXED them!!! Feels like a brand new pair. Thanks costco!

My wife and I were in on Jan 20, 2025. Katie A. in the Optical Dept. was great. She was super helpful and friendly. A true asset for Costco and their team members.
