I am a Costco "Executive" Member. I have been patronizing this Store # 208 White Marsh Md. since around 2008. Over the years this store #208 has gone through many employees. Some good , some not. Yesterday was the worst. I used the self=checkout and as I was doing so I became a little light headed. After I concluded my purchases I asked a "supervisor" if someone could help me load my vehicle up. I explained that I wasn't feeling well and could I ask for help. The Supervisor stated that she would call and have a yard person meet me out side and help with the loading. NO ONE CAME TO HELP. I saw two "yard employees" out by the front doors but neither one came over to help. I left Costco using that very same door. The temp was about 100. After I loaded my vehicle alone I went back inside and asked that same "supervisor" if she had made the call and she stated that she gave them a description of me and the type of cart I was pushing. This is the type of "customer service" you can expect from Costco store #208 White Marsh Md. If you don't believe me "Come on Down". Walk in like a customer and not a Costco employee. I can NOT bring myself to patronize a store that does not care about their customers. I look for reasons NOT to go there. Very poor work ethics at this warehouse. Disgruntle employees spread that negativity throughout the workplace. Negativity starts at the top with Management and oozes down to the employees under them. Every business needs a good "cleaning" every so often.

Costco employees (especially the so called on call managers on certain days) are confrontational and rude to their customers! They need to train these employees to be respectful, kind, and to give good customer service to the people who pay for your membership. This has happened to me and family numerous times already ! Costco members pay to shop and should be treated with exceptional customer service and not be disrespected!! Their policies are extremely rigid !!!

I've been a member for almost 40 years. Customer service doesn't listen at all. I wanted a manager to ask why my membership renewal goes through on line but my purchases don't and she comes back giving me a disatation that they see what she sees. Bad service and I still cannot purchase anything online. Costco Sam's Club is 100 yards away

I WAS a Costco member, but it only took a few visits to learn that they do not value their customers. I cancelled months ago. A few days ago, I received an email, supposedly from Costco, offering a premium for filling out a survey. I did so, but then they asked for a payment of $9.99. Suspecting a scam, I treated it as spam and deleted it. When I attempted to alert Costco about the incident, it was evident from their reaction that they could care less. I gave Costco two chances, so they got a one.

On May 5th,2026 I walked into Costco in Tacoma WA to open my first membership. When I approached the customer service desk I was told that if I signed up online I would receive a $45.00 shopping card as a new member and that all I had to do is go to the customer service desk and the shopping card will be issued there.. The following day on May 6th, 2026 I signed up online for the membership and I went to the customer service desk only to told something completely different from what the employee the day before said. So on May 6th I was told by a different employee that it was a Groupon offer. Mistakes happen but if employees can't manage to fully explain the membership and new member offers then they probably shouldn't be at the customer service desk. I called corporate just past noon and on 5/19/2026 and as soon as I asked how I could cancel membership the customer service representative was immediately ready to assist with that. If this is Costco customer service then I don't see the reason for anything more than a 1 star review. I would give it a -1 if I could.
