Very impressed with my first experience with Douglas & Leisner! I had eyeglass & contact lens exams, and the office was very accomodating regarding my concerns on my change of prescription a couple weeks later. My eyeglasses came in quickly and the optical technician very ably assisted me in adjusting them to my comfort. I will be recommending D&L to friends and family in the coming year!
Dr. Douglas is excellent--caring, knowledgeable, and efficient. He takes the time to make you feel heard while keeping the appointment running smoothly. His staff is equally wonderful and makes the whole experience a pleasure. Highly recommend!
Quick and easy to schedule appointments. Staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Day of appointment went very smoothly, everything is explained clearly and precisely. Doctor makes sure you understand information throughout her care. Makes sure all questions are answered. Staff helps you look for new frames and listens to you likes and dislikes. In costs very clear and goes over cost. Makes sure all questions are answered. I asked if I could return to make my final decision on my frames due to my eyes dilated. Yes, and made an appointment in a few days to do so. Absolutely no pressure to purchase right away. That I like a lot! Overall 10/10! I would let others know it’s a great place and awesome staff.
I went in for my appointment, and everything seemed fine at first. However, during my eye exam, I noticed the doctor did not sanitize their hands or the equipment in front of me, nor did they wear gloves.Three days later, I developed a stye that caused my eye to swell shut. While I can’t say for certain what caused it, the timing has left me concerned about the office’s hygiene and infection control practices.I hope this office takes cleanliness more seriously by properly disinfecting equipment between patients and following appropriate hygiene protocols to help reduce the risk of potential infections.
As always Dr. Douglas have awesome service. I’ve been seeing Dr. Douglas for around 25 years and would never go anyplace else. Dr. Douglas takes the time to listen you and genuinely cares about what you have to say at your appointment and truly listens. He listens to you as if your concerns were his concerns. And to find a healthcare provider like that is like hitting the lottery.
