Eye Care of Virginia - King George

If I could give Dr. Miles Press more than five stars, I would. I came to the Eye Care of Virginia office in King George with a difficult case: significant scarring in my right eye that caused a constant, horrible blurriness. After seeing how he handled my situation, I can confidently say his care is above all others. Dr. Press is incredibly personable and took a genuine amount of time to walk me through every available option. He didn’t just settle for "good enough"—he was determined to find the absolute best solution for my specific needs. We eventually decided on a scleral hard lens, and the results have been nothing short of life-changing. My vision is now corrected to 20/15. What impressed me most wasn't just the technical result, but his attitude throughout the process. He showed immense patience and honestly seemed almost more excited to get my vision corrected than I was! It is rare to find a doctor who is that invested in their patient's success and satisfaction. If you are looking for a doctor who truly listens and won't stop until your vision is perfect, go see Dr. Press. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Press is an amazing Eye Doctor. My daughter has a particularly difficult case with her eyes and some comorbidities that make it even more challenging. To say Dr. Press has gone above and beyond would be an understatement. Even when she’s been away in the past and had to see other eye Dr’s, which made her vision even worse, once she’s gotten back to Dr. Press he always helps her. We would never put our trust with any other eye Dr. but Dr. Press. His years of experience and knowledge about how other health issues affect her eyes is a true blessing. If you’re looking for an eye Dr. who isn’t afraid to think outside of the box and who is not only knowledgeable about eye health, but also very knowledgeable about other health issues as well- then he is the absolute best Dr. for you. I honestly do not know what we will do if he ever retires. He has gone out of his way to help us- even outside of his normal business hours. He truly cares about his patients and that coupled with all of the things I’ve mentioned is truly a rarity these days. Dr. Press is absolutely the best at what he does and we highly recommend him to anyone who needs eye care.

Dr Press and his staff are awesome. I had a situation with the vision in one of my eyes. He took the time to explain what was going on and send me to the right Dr that could help me. He has taken the time to check in on me and follow up. Well educated in his profession. Highly recommend.
