Dr. Richard Alexander is an Amazing Doctor! He was able to do what no other eye doctor could and that’s without surgery. He corrected my vision and I am now able to see very well! I had a very frustrating and honestly disappointing experience at this eye clinic. I went in for a routine eye exam, which is fully covered by my insurance every year. I’ve done this multiple times before and have never had to pay anything out of pocket. At the end of my appointment, I was suddenly charged $107 with absolutely no warning or explanation beforehand. I did not purchase contacts or glasses, and my exam was no different than a standard vision exam. When I questioned the charge, I was told it was because I “have contacts,” which makes no sense considering I did not request a contact lens fitting or any additional services. What really bothered me is that at no point during the appointment did anyone explain that there would be an extra fee or ask for my consent to perform a service that wasn’t covered. Patients deserve transparency, especially when it comes to unexpected charges. To make matters worse, when I called to get clarification, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and condescending. Instead of helping, he dismissed my concerns and even pressured me to purchase contacts. When I declined, he responded with, “okay then pay more online”. Between the lack of communication, unexpected charges, and poor customer service, this experience felt very dishonest. I would strongly recommend that anyone going here ask very clearly about any potential extra fees before agreeing to anything, because they will not tell you upfront. I’ve never left a business a bad review, but I want others to be aware that they might have to pay a $107 fee out of pocket.
Staff was awesome they went above and beyond what I expected I was very impressed with my eye doctor how he went above and beyond to make sure my eye care was what I needed for my vision Thank you for the best eye care I have received in a long while
Dr. Patel and the whole staff was very friendly. They answered all my questions and I would highly recommend anyone looking for an eye exam to go there.
