Overall, we had a very good experience. The staff was kind and professional, and my mom was able to get her eye exam, receive a new prescription, and order new glasses. The eye doctor was phenomenal—very thorough, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly during the exam. We truly appreciated the level of care and attention she received. One thing I also appreciated is that they offer payment plans, which can be very helpful for patients. They also accept Medicaid, although I recommend confirming ahead of time that your specific Medicaid plan is accepted. The main area that could be improved is communication. While the staff did speak some English, there was a noticeable language barrier when discussing payments, insurance, and what was covered. I left the office still unsure about exactly what Medicaid and the insurance covered for the eye exam, glasses, and other services. When it comes to healthcare and out-of-pocket costs, it’s important for patients to leave with a clear understanding of their coverage and financial responsibility. Having someone who is more fluent in English available to explain these details would make the experience even better. Overall, we had a positive experience, especially with the excellent care provided by the eye doctor.
