Honestly, this is one of the worst clinics I’ve dealt with. I live in Altamonte Springs but was referred by the ER to Dr. Hadri. My son needed several exams, yet they scheduled each one on different days. Over the course of a month, we were driving an hour each way once a week, only to wait up to two hours to be seen for a quick 10-minute exam. After four visits, we still had no answers and nothing was accomplished. There were also multiple issues with scheduling. Appointments were rescheduled without notice, and I was told the doctor wouldn’t be in yet when I pushed back, I was suddenly placed back into my original time slot. That raised concerns about how appointments are being managed. Last month, I received a text saying I missed an appointment I was never notified about. I left a voicemail to address it and never received a call back. Now I’ve received a bill for over $800, even though we have insurance, and it was processed as self-pay. Overall, the lack of organization, communication, and follow-through made this an extremely frustrating experience. I would not recommend this office. For comparison, I took my son to Maitland Eye Associates, and in just one visit they completed all necessary exams and gave us clear answers.

I am finally reading all these reviews. I was sent to them as "emergency" by the doctor at eyeglass world because of the pressure of my eyes. I agree with all of the comments about the front office. The first impression was not good. However, the second time I went, one of the ladies at the front took care of me and I had no problem. Met Dr. Hadri and he was really nice. I understand this is a regular day for all of you, but this is the first time for most of us. They told me I had to have SLT which I had on Wednesday of this week. Actually the surgery was supposed to happen last Wednesday but something happened with my card and I had to cancel. But that day when I got there when the receptionist told the lady that she had another SLT she was very upset and said I do not have another one. I am glad that something happened with my card and I didn't do anything that day. I was not given any instructions or what to expect so I just showed up this Wednesday for my surgery. They said it was going to be painless. It was not. As I was in the waiting room waiting for my turn another lady got up and went to complain that she was waiting for 2 hours. The nurse or the assistant or whoever she was that was with doctor Hadri, came out and told her well we told you have a good day. Acceder that woman you can go home. Again no instructions and no follow-up what to expect next. Hay que mouth and they have not told me I had to wear shades, again the first time I'm doing this type of surgery, so you can imagine the pain when I got out and the sun was at full blast. I see all the canned responses everybody's getting from all the negative reviews and it actually makes me not want to go back for the second eye surgery. I called this morning because I am in pain I have crossed in my eye and all I get is there are two colors ahead of you and by the time that they sent you to someone it goes to voicemail. We have left two voicemails and still waiting for someone to call me back and tell me what to do next. The doctor is amazing however niece is not the only thing we need, we need instructions we need next steps. Thinking of calling back and canceling everything with this company. I gave one star because of the two ladies that took care of me a checking time and the doctor. Everyone else needs a course on customer service. Plus the doctor needs to let people know what to do and what to expect. UPDATE: After waiting for a long period of time, I finally got through and they asked me to come in the same day. This visit felt very different. The staff was nicer, even when my husband shared our frustration with everything that happened. Dr. Hadri came in and let me tell you, he is amazing. He explained everything that was going on and has such a peaceful and caring demeanor. Some doctors might have dismissed what I was feeling, but not him. He made me feel at ease and took his time to explain what to expect next. This time I left the office with answers. Even during my earlier difficult experience, Dr. Hadri and the two front desk staff members who helped me were always kind and professional. From day one, Dr. Hadri has been empathetic and caring, but during this visit he went above and beyond. I can honestly say that I will give this a 4 star. Another update: This office does not have the system to leave a message; the front desk ladies have to write down your message and leave it at the tech's desk. If they ever see your message, then they will call you. I found Lake Nona Ophthalmologist, and they are amazing. If you need to contact them, they have many ways to reach them: text, phone, email, etc. Even the doctor answers texts in less than 5 minutes. So, if you need a nice place, nice doctor, and nice staff, you need to go to Lake Nona Ophthalmologist!!
PATIENTS BEWARE!!! These people have absolutely no value for your time. Typically when you call them, you are the 10th to 15th person in line, so you should be prepared for a 30+ minute wait on hold before you speak to them. When you get there they tell you that typically it is a 3-hour wait beyond your scheduled appointment time before you will actually see a doctor. It seems that this practice only wants to make money as quickly as possible regardless of what inconveniences it may cause their patients. Find another doctor! You will thank me later.
03/24/26 I recently experienced an eye injury last Saturday. My GF drove me to Advent Hospital's Emergency Center where a highly competent Emergency Room Physician attempted to resolve my eye issue. The Emergency Room Doctor was humble enough to realize I had a very serious problem where he suggested he contact the Opthalmologist on call. I was fortunate to get Dr. Wissam Hadri. DO who within minutes identified the problem and immediately informed me how his treatment would heal my right eye having an abrasion with acute conjunctivitis. Today, I drove over 30 miles as a follow up to see Dr. Hadri in my Medical Eye Associates Clinic in Kissimmee, FL. I found the personnel conducting my pretesting were high competent and extremely knowledgeable. Natasha's first greeted me explaining what I needed to complete as a new patient. Busy answering the phone while also registering me ---she is no doubt able to successfully multi-task. Raquel...one of Medical Eye's Technicians was the next professional I saw that intuitively asked pointed and specific questions prior to me visiting with the doctor. Having a past brother who was a board certified Opthalmologist graduating from Northwestern Medical School with post graduate work at Harvard; I myself am quite knowledgeable about this medical specialty. My brother-in-law is also an Opthalmologist attending the University of Illinois Medical School having practiced at Kaiser Clinic. The very reason. I only state this is to verify my comments here in this Google review. If you are need to identify an Opthalmologist; you will be respectfully impressed with Medical Eye Associates. 03/25/2026. Upon reading other reviews on Medical Eye Associates I was astonished by the reviews submitted by other patients. As a professional and licensed business consultant; I like to express a contrary opinion to those who may have not given a 5 STAR RATING to this highly reputable and sophisticated medical clinic. One never knows what takes place behind the operation of a clinic, hospital or physician's practice. While time is a factor in everyone's life; one never really understands the complications and issues within and behind the respective operation. At my dentist's office recently I was there over three hours basically only to be worked on about 90 minutes. The dentist had another patient having a complication in which he needed to take care of. If you are visiting a medical practice---realize you are not in a fast food restaurant. So give the Medical Eye doctors with their highly competent staff a little leeway realizing that they are doing their best to accommodate their patients. As a reminder; my brother and brother-in-law became board certified ophthalmologists from top tier universities. Medical Eye Associates is a highly professional clinic having two experienced Ophthalmologists. They conduct very sophisticated screening and testing at all levels. Look at the very big picture ...that is after getting tested and/or treated at Medical Eye Associates--- did they resolve your medical problem.
"Excellent experience with surgeon widdam hadri and his staff. The office is run like a well-oiled machine—hardly any wait times, and every staff member was kind and knowledgeable. The surgery went exactly as described, and my recovery was incredibly fast. My vision is now 20/20, and I couldn't be happier. Five stars for technical skill and patient care!" Great job!!
