Eyes of York

My husband just had cataract surgery with Dr Benz and is doing so well ! This is the nicest of medical centers , everyone in there treats you with care and concern ! There is such a sweet atmosphere in that place and I so appreciate the way they treated my husband ! He couldn't have received better care ! And We felt so comfortable there, everything was superior !

I had my vision corrected several years ago via PRK. I have not regretted this decision and had no major concerns after surgery. My eyesight continues to be 20/15 or better. Even more recently, as I've developed Reccurent Corneal Errosion, these men and women have been extremely understanding, gentle, and professional about it. I want to say that I have always had extreme anxiety surrounding my face (eyes/teeth) and these doctors put me at ease in any way they can. I straight up panicked when they were putting in my first bandage contact after a big scratch. They waited and we finally got it placed. Removal is always easier. That said, the last couple visits, I've noticed that there are sound machines in each hallway. The ambient noise is not for me and seems to ramp up my desire to gtfo as fast as possible. They leave the doors open while you wait for the doctor and I seem to always be right by one of these infernal contraptions. I love these doctors and once the door is closed, I'm fine. However, I can't imagine working here with that constant sound. Maybe it's my neurospiciness, but this is my ick. Still 5* for their professionalism and quality of care. Just not for the ambient noise.

The office staff greeted me and was very courteous. The office is very neat and organized.They’re all very friendly and kind and professional.everything went smoothly and on time and it is a very good eye doctor. I’ve been going there for several years. I will not change. I am very happy and appreciative of their care.

I had a great experience with my LASIK procedure at Eyes of York. The entire process from scheduling to consultation to surgery day was smooth and well organized. The staff communicated clearly throughout, so I knew exactly what to expect during and after the procedure, which really eased my anxiety and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Benz and his team always took the time to answer any questions I had, which I really appreciated. I’m so happy with my results and would absolutely recommend Eyes of York to anyone considering LASIK.
