Employees were nice but the glasses had to be ordered 4 times! Only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because of how nice the employees in the location were. I ordered regular glasses and sunglasses. The sunglasses were perfect, the regular glasses were a nightmare!!! The lenses came in 2 times warped. Then after the third pair the lenses were perfect but the frames were scratched and dented. I called and they offered to put the lenses in the display frames. I was so frustrated and the display frames had loose screws on the arms and kept falling off my face. I took them to another local optical company to get them fitted. Was such a horrible experience I canceled my contact appointment and decided to take my kids to a different place. Also the eye exam is n done via a zoom call, they can’t dilate your eyes because no optometrist is in the facility most days.

Went in for my appointment. Sat for 45 min past my scheduled time before they even called me back for my initial testing. The lady just finished with a Spanish speaking family and asks me "do you speak English or Spanish?" I said English. She said " Thank God". After she completed my testing I then sat for another 30 minutes before going in for my virtual eye exam. The girl at the counter was nice, she did give my daughter some pages to color and crayons while we waited. I finished my exam, picked out my glasses and paid then left. Week and a half later my glasses were ready for pickup. I go in, the girl handed them to me. I put them on and im like, there's a finger print. She goes oh im sorry and tries to clean them. She then says umm thats not a finger print, how did these pass inspection. The other girl says let me see and takes them. Low and behold, they are scratched. I then take them back to look at them and as im holding them up I see on the other lense that there are numbers running down the edge of it. How does something like this get through an inspection process? I mean with the amount my insurance company spent and the amount I spent the bill was over $700. This is ridiculous. I put out $235 out of pocket to get extras and get a product like this. Thankfully the girls at the counter were nice but now I have to wait for another 7-10 days she said for another pair. Am I being reimbursed for this inconvenience? Something needs to be done.
I came to York on a business trip from New Jersey and, when I arrived, I discovered that one of the arms on my glasses had broken. I found Visionworks and took a chance that they might be able to fix it for me. When I entered the store, I was greeted by Chanel and Tink, who could not have been more welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Their level of customer service and kindness was truly exceptional. In today's world, that kind of genuine care for customers is rare. After repairing my glasses, I offered to pay for the service, but they refused to charge me. I was completely shocked and incredibly grateful. I highly recommend seeing either Chanel or Tink if you're looking for outstanding customer service, professionalism, and kindness. They turned a stressful situation into a wonderful experience, and I can't thank them enough.
I arrived early for my appointment and it started immediately. The examination was thorough with very short waiting times in between different steps. I have a few suggestions though : - During the first part of the examination a customer has to move frequently in order to face five or six different stations. It would make things so much easier to sit on a chair with wheels. - This doesn't concern the location where I was : During the final video communication with the doctor, I thought the sound quality c Shoul be enhanced just by providing her a microphone allowing a smoother sound.
Great customer service, wide selection of frames, unique experience using virtual for the exam. Facility was clean and well taken care of. Dr explained in detail results of the test and exam, listened closely and recommended best option. Different tests were used than the normal optometrist and it was included in the exam. Overall would recommend friends and family to come here for any eye needs.
