They were great up until this event that just recently happened. My daughter has been going there since age 2, seeing Dr. Khuddus the whole time, she is now about to be 11 years old. I called up there today because the last time she was seen was May 13, 2025. So I called today trying to get an appointment with Dr. Khuddus And was told that she doesn’t have any appointments for the next year. So now they had to put us on with a whole different doctor. Dr. Khuddus has been seeing my daughter for 9 1/2 years. She’s the one who did the surgery on my daughter’s eyes, she knows my daughter and what her specific needs are. We just really needed appointment to get her eyeglass prescription updated at this time. But still, I don’t like the fact that when we were at our last appointment in May 2025, they told me that they were booking six months out and they would call me to schedule her an appointment. Well, they never called so I finally called today to try to get an appointment and they told me that we can’t see Dr. Khuddus Because she’s booked a year out so I would have to see a total different doctor that doesn’t even know my kid. I don’t like the fact that I wasn’t called to schedule and appointment and now have to see a new doctor to get the eyeglass prescription updated. It’s supposed to be updated once a year. So now we’re gonna have to have a new patient appointment, which takes forever, with this new doctor all because I was never called to schedule the appointment. Even when you’re going there for just a routine scheduled appointment, you’re there for a few hours sometimes. These new patients appointments you can be there four hours. It’s just not fair and I’m not happy about it. I’m not happy about us having to see a new doctor when we like Dr. Khuddus And have been seeing her for 9 1/2 years!!!! Rant over-

So thoroughly impressed with the staff, especially Dr. Khuddus. They were so attentive to my 16 month old and understood my concerns as a parent. They gave me extra advice on how to navigate through our situation with tips and tricks, making a nervous mom feel at ease. They were prepared with print outs that had EVERYTHING they said on them so I didn't have to remember it all. I have worked in the medical field for 15+ years (eeek!! Shamed to say) and I know that this was genuine care and NOT JUST a well managed practice. Today... It's hard to find that perfect balance of both but they did. Bravo Dr. Khuddus and staff! And thank you for being there for Central Florida.
Not happy with office staff - they were more concerned with fiscal matters than my eye injury. Although I have the best BCBS PPO insurance, ended paying $75 for eye exam. After all the exam process, I was given sample moisturizing drops, and no treatment. Told to come back in 2 weeks- decided to get a second opinion somewhere else.
I was referred to this clinic by my primary care physician. Unfortunately, at no point before the visit was I informed that my insurance would not cover the service. After the appointment was completed, I was told that the visit was not covered and I would be responsible for the full cost. Had I been informed in advance, I would have contacted my insurance or chosen a different provider. This lack of transparency put me in a very difficult position financially. Patients deserve clear and upfront communication about insurance coverage before receiving care. I hope the clinic improves its insurance disclosure process so others do not experience the same situation.
Went there for eye exam and glasses. Took 2 hours to get the exam only to find out at check out that optical doesnt take my insurance anymore and I have to go somewhere else for glasses. Big waste of time after waiting almost 2 months for this appointment.
