I was transiting through Denver at the beginning of a vacation and encountered a problem with my contact lens. The office staff facilitated an emergency appointment within an hour. They were courteous and warm and professional. Dr. Kinder listened carefullly. She examined my eye throughly and methodically. She is personable and professional. I recommend the practice highly. No initial issues with check-in, however they seemed a bit busy and a little disorganized. That should have been an indicator. Exam went fine, doctor was absolutely incredible. A real shame I won't be returning. Once I was finished and paid, I requested for my ID back. In which I quickly realized they had lost it. After a short rude conversation, they asked me to wait. They ultimately figured out they had given my ID to another customer...which is absolutely wild. That is my personal ID. In summary: Front reception is a huge mess and seem overwhelmed. Doctor 100/10.
We did not have a good experience overall. The front desk staff was polite and helpful, which we appreciated. However, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The staff was very impatient and reluctant to provide a copy of the eye exam results on paper, making it difficult for us to explore other options. It felt like there was unnecessary pressure to purchase glasses directly from them. For a child’s basic glasses, we were quoted around $450 even after insurance, with additional charges for the frame. This seemed unreasonably high. On top of that, we were told we would need to wait up to a week just to get the doctor’s signature on the prescription. This delay, combined with the lack of transparency, was frustrating. Overall, the experience felt restrictive and inconvenient. I would not recommend this place if you value flexibility, transparency, and fair pricing.
I switched clinics because this place was closer to home. Needless to say I have no regrets. The staff is nice and very accommodating. I was surprised with how quickly our glasses were ready. Very pleased to say the least.
Very helpful and kind staff. While traveling I had the need for an emergency repair. Everyone was welcoming and the optometrist was able to fix up my glasses without issue. I would also recommend this location for any one looking to browse frames as well, they had a nice showroom stocked with great options for readers and RX sunglasses.
