I rarely write reviews, but this office truly deserves one. While drilling, I got a tiny metal shaving embedded in my cornea. Since I don’t have health insurance, I was worried about both the treatment and the cost. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with kindness and respect. The ladies at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and made the check-in process easy. The technician who examined my eye was professional, patient, and explained every step before the doctor came in. The doctor was outstanding. He carefully removed the metal fragment, cleaned the rust ring, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I had one unusual request—to keep the tiny piece of metal as a reminder to always wear proper eye protection. He smiled, carefully placed it on a napkin, sealed it with clear tape, and handed it back to me. I’ll definitely keep it as a reminder that safety glasses are much cheaper than eye injuries. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cost. As a self-pay patient, my total bill for the visit was only $110, and my prescription eye drops were $15 at Walgreens. Thank you to every member of the team for your professionalism, kindness, and excellent care. From the front desk to the doctor, the service was truly five-star. I highly recommend Gaston Eye Associates to anyone who needs emergency eye care.

If you don’t value your time, this is the place for you! Dr. Lee’s time is clearly more important than yours. Had a simple cyst removal. First appt time was 2:30 didn’t get seen until 3:45 for a 10 minute procedure. 2nd appt to remove one stitch, appt time 8:05, at 8:45 he came in. It took less than a minute to remove. I was the second appt of the day, how are you 40 minutes behind by the second appt. Most disrespectful practice ever.
Today I had my first appointment there, I was coming from a different eye doctor and I will say I was beyond pleased with my visit. I was in and out in a timely matter, and the pretty young lady Britney who did my screening for my doctor was the best! Exceptional! Exceptional! Very well put together in her presentation and great customer service!!! 100000 recommend this place!
Very thankful& grateful for the staff at Gaston Eye, especially Julia and Dr. Mazhari. I was extremely anxious and worried for my diabetic eye exam (it had been some years). They took their time with me and explained everything they were doing. I’m very appreciative of their patience& kindness.
Very rarely do I feel it necessary to write a review, but after today's experience, I felt compelled to do so. This was my second visit to this office. Dr. Ferguson was, once again, friendly, professional, and provided excellent care. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his assistant and the front office staff. During my first visit, I assumed their demeanor may have been the result of an off day, but my experience today confirmed that this appears to be the norm. The staff were unfriendly and, at times, bordering on rude. It's unfortunate because the first and last interactions patients have are often with the office staff, and those interactions can leave the strongest impression. Dr. Ferguson is an excellent provider, but the attitude and customer service of his support staff significantly detract from the overall patient experience.
