Just called to make an appt. Whoever the woman was that answered the phone…. Rude. I said Hi can I make an appointment. Her response was I guess with a crappy tone. Yeah, you just lost 2 potential patients that get new glasses every year!

The doctor and the young man that ran my tests were very professional. The older gal at the front desk is simply rude. Also I ordered and paid for a brand new pair of eyeglasses which came in scratched on both lenses. I dropped them off to be repaired or replaced and I had to call them almost 3 weeks later to see if they had them yet, which they don’t. Seems like very poor customer service and I think next time I will go somewhere else.
Friendly and helpful staff. Dr. efficiently examined and patiently explained test results and eye health. New prescription process went smoothly. Staff ensured proper new frame fit and alignment. Plenty of eyeglass options from many recognizable name brands.
In response to Danielle. No when you have both Medicaid and Medicare and you are low income there is NO copay for eye exams or glasses. You are allowed every 2 years for a new pair. Funny how when I went to the only other optometrist in Gladwin I was not charged a copay. That offices accounting dept knows that. Yet Gladwin eye cares is an in office copay NOT a copay required by the insurance companies. So yes my opinion of Gladwin Eye Care is their person in charge of accounting needs better training and I was told by both Medicaid and Medicare they can NOT charge an in office copay and a complaint was filled. Please educate yourself on what is legal and what is not. Hopefully you are not in charge of medical billing in ay local medical office.
Women who work there are friendly and nice people. They always called me when my appointment i went there no problems. One man works there for check eyes he is nice too.
