Went to two appointments there. The wait in the office is ridiculously long. We were made to see another eye specialist and they ran the same tests we had just done … The Retinal Specialist (Dr. Swanson) is very pompous!! Very dismissive of your time and concerns. Curt with his answers. He is quick to say things that make you not feel comfortable in his ability to meet our needs. Surgery in this case he said was permanent but “really old school”. He was ready to do shots “right now” (Come to find out the shots need to be pre approved by insurance) And schedule laser and cataracts surgery. That was on a Monday come Friday we had not heard anything from the office. When we left we were made to feel “You’ll go blind if you don’t do something right now!!!” We left feeling uneasy with the doctor, his bedside manner and his ability to treat us professionally because we didn’t do something now!! We left got another referral and went the same week to Specialty Eye Institute got a more thorough appointment and felt much better with the outcome. Don’t waste your time or money!!!! Go elsewhere in a hurry!!!
Do not trust this business. I talked to 3 different people there about prices prior to the appointment to make sure I wasn't going to be charged a large amount. They never told me an accurate amount. I have paid them $1000 now for 2 appointment. I was worried about that which is why I asked up front. I will never go back there.
Huge wait times - 35 mins before called back- saw the asst and got some eye measurements then led to another waiting room for 20 more minutes. Staff was pleasant and competent. Clean and nice office but the exterior property was run down- 5ft weeds and grungy parking lot.
