Do not recommend who in the world will talk to a 73 almost 74 year old woman who dont understand a lot of big word medical terms if you are gonna be in this kind of field for work where you'll be working with people there is no need to talk to people with a attitude. But will say the lady who helped my mom pick a pair of glasses she was very nice to her explained the difference between the different types of frames and lenses.

I scheduled eye appointments for all 3 of my children with Dr. Carson at Grene Vision over a month in advance. Not only were the appointments booked without issue, but I also received text messages offering earlier appointments for all 3 together. I have even brought all 3 kids to appointments on the same day in the past. Then today, I received a call saying the appointments had to be rescheduled because the doctor “does not see more than 3 family members in one day.” This policy was never mentioned when scheduling, and clearly wasn’t considered when sending earlier appointment offers either. Instead of helping make things easier for families, this creates a major inconvenience by suddenly splitting appointments up and requiring multiple trips. As a parent trying to coordinate schedules for 3 children, this was incredibly frustrating and disappointing communication from Grene Vision.
Took a week to get my glasses which wasn’t bad, but Kancare coverages don’t cover scratch, glare, or light weight features so if your using one of those insurance plans expect lousy basic and primitive glasses, and they won’t let you pay for those features separately anymore. So not only did I get 5lb glasses thicker than shot glasses, but the ear coatings on the frames weren’t even shrank properly for a tight fit, they move back and forth and the nose pieces may as well be rocks that leave per I ant red marks on my nose. When I went back to get the ear rests fixed I had to wait an hour before finally deciding to leave and use my own heat gun to finish shrinking them. Selection was small at the south Seneca location as well. If you can afford it, there are much better options
The staff was nice enough, not amazing but not bad, but i specifically told them use my vision, not medical insurance, they didn't listen and of course medical kicked it back and now I have a bill and they refuse to rerun it beacuse it would slightly inconvenience them. To top it off they refuse to send a paper bill and are insisting I pay through a sketchy link on a text message. The "lovely" person I talked to on the phone told me to just deal with it and pay it. Never use these people, and that goes for ALL Grene vision locations if this is the billing system.
They wont give me my contact prescription because I put in a "trial pair" and they need to see me again for fitting...even though the doctor looked at them when I put them in. So now ive been in the same pair on contacts for 2 months and cant get them to give me my prescription. They got $80 from me so they must not care...and their scheduling sucks. Customer service says they will have someone call me back but never do. Place is very inconvenient and unhelpful.
