Edit: I had a good experience at first but my subsequent experiences haven’t been so great. The residents have no bedside manner, I never got to see the attending, the front desk women were rude. The call center system is ridiculous and impossible to navigate. A real headache. The only thing I can continue to say is very very good are the medical assistants and nurses. They’re kind and do a good job. I’ve had good experiences here each time I’ve come here for Primary Care with internal medicine. The residents, attendings, front desk, medical assistants, etc are all very kind and thorough. I felt like I got a lot of time with the doctor and they really listened and paid attention to me. It’s a great office!

I had a ‘physical’ on Wednesday One of the most incomplete physicals I’ve ever had was not Ask to put on a gown sit on the table was not examined whatsoever. Besides the nurse taking my blood pressure. I told Dr Ayone of a few problems. She simply referred me to the dermatologist wouldn’t even look at the problem , She said yeah, those things are hard to diagnose sometimes . Did not do EKG which I’ve always had at physicals in the past at my age , Then Dr. Ayaona literally told me she was in a hurry she had to go and get to her next patient. It was the most incomplete physical I’ve ever had. I feel it’s ashamed. The insurance is even billed. However, there was a doctor much more seasoned that came in and chatted with me for a moment about my previous hospital visit and asked me a few questions, about my pain level and getting out of breath ,which I have. Important questions that she had not thought of asking. Also, I asked for a B12 shot which she would not give. I don’t know why my other doctors always have. I’ve been fatigued. at any rate. I will definitely not be seeing this young doctor again. I’m sure she will learn as she gets more experienced, but it’s just not gonna be on me. However I will stay with the practice and see Dr. Douglas hellcat next time which was my original referral. He was just booked up too far in advance to see this time.
This is regarding an appointment that was cancelled last minute due to me not having health insurance they would take. This was specifically for the core clinic (long covid care). Nearly two weeks prior I had submitted my insurance information. During that time they had all the time to determine whether they could or could not take my insurance. Only to tell me one hour before the appointment they could not. I blocked off valuable time for this appointment. Not to mention the care that I was deprived of due to their unprofessionalism. Disappointing and sloppy service.
I’ve been here several times for several different things. The lady who drew my blood twice was a sweetheart. I have a crippling fear of needles and she helped me get through it. I’ve gone to the three different doctors including my PCP and all of them are attentive, kind, caring and over all great doctors. I’m glad I got sent to this location despite the fact that it’s like 1 hour away. I don’t like my local hospital lol.
My Mom recently had an Appointment with Dr. Nicole Cassanta! As I help take care of my Mom I know what's paining her or what her concerns are. This doctor from Start to Finish was incompetent! She asked questions and as soon as the questions were asked they seemed to have left her brain! My Mom had specific complaints and she was told more than once what they were. And she did NOT address them all. The nurse came in and noticed my Mom wrists were swollen, which we had already told the doctor. The nurse seemed concerned and said she would send the doctor back in. But to which, it was in vain, she said she doesn't have time she has patients to see and that we should address that with her regular PCP! But we were here Now!! The entire appointment was rushed!! We even said something to the Front desk and they were appalled!! Your Job as a Doctor no matter whose patient it is (especially if you're seeing them), is to ADRESS EVERY CONCERN THE PATIENT HAS AND TO HELP FIND A RESOLUTION!! Although she is a resident she is off to a Extremely Bad Start and I feel Bad for EVERY PATIENT she has ever seen & will See!!!
