So here's the thing. The drs that listen in this building are great. But there are a lot that pass people over immediately. Everything is just shrugged off you'll be fine. But here's the catch the more knowledgeable you are now the less they listen. Instead we are labeled melodramatic moms on tik tok. To the point I could not find people who believed me about my kids and actually then investigated further. So then I figure stuff out tell them and they will just say no thats not it. Its just constant gaslighting by these drs. Some are great. But there needs to be a serious course on narcacistic behavior in drs, because you dont know everything, and you continuously discredit parents desperately looking for answers. I was on the er on st Patrick's day it is empty. So the dr comes in and throws her badge on the thing and huffs. I had brought ny daughter in for severe pelvic pain. She goes so is this the same as last week. I was like we weren't here last week huffs again and is like ok well we can do an xray. I even said like they are having a lot of gi problems. Xrays good they sent us home. She was in gastroperisis. She has an underlying health condition that no one looked into bc you cant get further than an attempt at a bandaid for symptoms and then they tell you youre over reacting if you push farther. 4/5 family members were wrongly diagnosed in my house after years of them just not believing me. 3 of them were frequently seeing people in this hospital. Something is very wrong. To the nurses you guys have been a saving grace, thank you for kindness and compassion. To the administration at Kaleida do better. Stop shorting your staff and cutting ever corner you can. Like really ai phone lines now???? Unbelievable.

I was here April 1 2026 for emergency surgery SCFE. Everyone from the ER - Dr. DiPalma especially in the ER as my doctor, the nurses and receptionists at check in were fantastic. They were very busy that morning but kept things moving. When moved upstairs for admission to surgery Grace on the 3rd floor was amazing. Very kind and attentive to my needs. Dr. Ferrick was my surgeon again and once again did a fantastic job. Lucky enough to be discharged the same day. Annie in recovery was phenomenal as well. Everyone there from admission to discharge was so kind, helpful and understanding. There is no other hospital I would rather be at than Golisano of Buffalo.

Our daughter was transferred here when she was born, to the NICU. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone we spoke to were incredibly personable and did their best to explain everything in simple human terms to us. Although the NICU is the last place any parent wants to be, the staff there made it bearable. I can't speak highly enough of all of them. They even let us bring our daughter out of the room so she could watch the new year's fireworks. You can tell the nurses and doctors actually love their job and belong there.

My wife is pregnant and was due to be induced a few days back. When she went in they sent her home saying there is no bed available. We called for the next two days to see if they have anything available. She is high risk and needs priority. They admitted her saying she shouldn’t be home. It’s been 24 hrs and nothing. Receptionist showing attitude and not answering any questions. She is having contractions and they still don’t have a bed available. I’m not sure what is going on with this place but they need to be have clear communication. They sent us out of the triage back to the waiting room like what is going on??

Very disappointed in this "Childrens Hospital". My son had a cardiology test scheduled one month in advance for Monday July 13th, and we just received a call at 2:45pm on a Friday July 10th that " they were just informed nobody will be available to do the testing on Monday at the scheduled time and to reschedule". Called back 20 mins later and got a message saying the office is closed in observance of the holiday, despite the hours being until 4pm on Friday and being July 10th. This is an absolutely horrible patient experience and this is the ONLY place that will perform testing on infants. Do better and staff better!!
