The staff were kind, but I don’t feel the pricing was reasonable. I purchased a children’s eyeglass frame, and the price was not clearly explained in advance. I was surprised to find out at checkout that it cost $200. Because of this, I feel a lack of transparency, and I don’t think I will return.

Mrs. Kim always greets with big smile and I have been a regular past 5 years for every pair of glasses I have owned so far. This time, I thought it might be a good idea to try out Costco. My experience - waited in line for more than 30 mins, there were two people working and finally one lady reluctantly asked if I needed help, I asked about how much typically cost for glasses for a men. I had no idea that type of question can be so wrong and offending to that lady. Not a single moment of eye contact, very impolite responses, and moved on to another customer before our conversation ended. I understand everyone has a moment and bad timing, and I also believe this type of workers should never work at a retail businesses. They should be able to find somewhere quieter and alone type of job I am sure they will fit them better. Long story short, Costco at the Cumming GA location lost $400 business as a result, I drove straight back to my Kim’s Optical - Got a new pair $200, she already had my yearly eye exam result, my insurance she filed for me, and I am now set to receive my pair in a couple of days. I am sure everyone has different experience and respect that, but I like my experience with Kim’s Optical every time.
My family has been visiting here since 2014, and she has always offered great prices and kind service. Thank you, Kim, for always helping us with great glasses and excellent service!
I thought I simply did not like the glasses purchased here. After having them inspected at another shop, wow, I am flabbergasted. I brought them to replace the ridiculously thick lenses (despite paying for the highest tier index). My new optician seemed shocked. The lenses were not just thick but so poorly fit the frame as to leaving him bewildered. After replacing the lenses, they are now lightweight, balanced, and comfortable. There was nothing wrong with the frame but the lenses. Obviously, the optician working here is not qualified to handle certain frames. FYI, I bought a high-end Japanese frame.
Mrs. Kim is fantastic! A kind compassionate woman who always greets you with a smile and is willing to go above and beyond to help you out! Excellent prices and top notch service!
