Dr. Kahmbati did Lasik surgery on me over 20 years ago. Just recently, I had a lawn mower accident and tore my cornea on a branch. I had no insurance. I remembered Dr.Kambati and called his office. I was pleased to get a real person I could talk to. I told her my situation and she immediately offered for me to come down immediately within the next 30 minutes. I arrived, they did many tests on my eye. Within 2 and 1/2 hours of the accident, I was out the door. Doctor put stem cells on the tear then covered it with a lens. I returned a week later to have the lens removed and have the eye checked. Doctor was very pleased, he said it barely looked like it had even been injured. He said he was concerned because the tear was so deep, wide and the location. I'm very grateful and so many aspects for Dr.Kambati And his very helpful staff! The young lady at the desk was very much on the ball! She helped me out as far as applying for an online coupon for the eye drops and other aspects., very accommodating, they even called me to see how my eye was doing. Definitely a great experience considering the injury! Thank you so much!😊

I have been a patient of Dr Khambati for several years and trust him and his staff, each one, from the girls at the front desk to his assistants with my most valuable possession, my eyes. As a doctor he always stays up on the newest treatment to enhance my visual needs along with the dreaded old age eye decline. As a professional he has exceeded my greatest expectations. He is an exceptional physician.

Very disappointing experience and, frankly, unacceptable customer service. Over the past two days, I received a couple of last minute phone calls about an appointment that was supposedly scheduled months ago. I had no record of it in my calendar and did not receive any meaningful reminder that would have allowed me to plan around it. When I explained that I had existing client commitments and could not make it on such short notice, the staff member I spoke with was not only completely unaccommodating, but also came across as rude and dismissive. Instead of showing any level of understanding, I was immediately told I would be charged a $50 late cancellation fee. At that point, it stopped being about the $50 and became about principle. As a loyal patient, I would expect at least a reasonable conversation, not a rigid policy being enforced with zero flexibility and poor attitude. The interaction felt transactional and indifferent, not patient focused. There was no attempt to take accountability for the lack of clear communication or to find a reasonable solution. Very discouraging experience. I would think twice before working with a practice that prioritizes policy over people.

I had blepharoplasty for my drooping eyelids done by Dr. Khambati the beginning of December. He was great and kept me comfortable the entire time. I had much less bruising and swelling than I expected but but still have mild bruising and swelling a week later. I was concerned because I had a Christmas party three days later but I was comfortable attending. Know that I don't consider myself vain and others may not be comfortable going out that quickly. A week later I had the stitches removed and I believe anyone would be comfortable going in public at this point. I still have some bruising and swelling under my eyes but am able to cover it with make-up. I'm very glad I had it done. I've been to both the Milford and Clinton Township offices and don't feel that the location makes any difference since it is the same, kind staff in both locations.

I have been really nervous about getting LASIK for years but after I was recommended Dr Khambati by a past patient I decided to take the leap. I was a candidate for SMILE and it is the best decision I’ve ever made. 2 days out and my life is changed! I can see so clearly and the recovery has been so easy. The entire procedure took about 10 minutes and the doctor was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough.
