Lifetime Vision Care

Wife and I waited until we were back up in the Bend OR area to see our previous eye doctor Derri Sandberg. She has been the best eye doctor we have ever had. Very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and caring which covers about everything a person should look for in a doctor. We been down in Arizona the last 5 years and found NO DOCTOR that was comparable to her. We recommend Dr. Sandberg to anyone who wants a top notch eye doctor! :-)

The only problem with leaving good reviews is that you worry that even more people will flock to the business or person and it will be harder to get in yourself! That said, I love Lifetime Vision Care! They are professional AND nice. Dr. Rettenmeier is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things carefully in a way it’s easy to understand. I’m so glad I discovered them eight years ago!

Excellent in all respects. Got an appt. within a week of my first call to them. Staff are gracious and helpful. Dr. Stephanie is the bomb. She has a lovely, relaxed presence and knows her stuff. Explained things in a straight forward, clear way. Turns out I didn't need an Rx for glasses and no one tried to sell me on anything. I heartily encourage anyone who needs an eye exam for any reason to check them out. UPDATE from my last review: I needed an appt SAP and they squeezed me in the same day. Once again, the staff here are exceptionally kind and responsive. I got terrific care from Dr. Carbon. He was thorough and reassuring. I left feeling relieved and cared for. This is my one and only eye care clinic! Take good care of your eyes, folks, 'specially in the dry Central Oregon air!

Quick summary- amazing eye care place, super friendly staff who clearly know what their doing, I don't think you can go wrong going here, 5 star rating for a reason! Long summary- I came here to figure out what I needed to do for my BVD (double vision), as well as just a general eye appointment and such. I've had BVD for 8-10 years, just getting worse and worse, roughly 30 minute long appointment or so and I find out that I never needed prism in the first place, and that's what's causing my double vision. My original doctor at our local clinic put them in without me ever needing them in the first place or ever doing any proper testing for it. While it was a really fast and simple appointment the staff was awesome and super friendly. The staff clearly knows what their doing and has a lot of experience in eye care, not to mention they also seem pretty passionate about it, it's not just a job to them and in no way does it feel like their just after you're money. I very highly recommend this place for anyone looking into it, I feel like I can guarantee 100% you'll have a good experience here.

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Sandberg. She is amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable. You can feel instant trust and security when in her care. I highly recommend her as your eye health go to!
