The team here is always so welcoming and Hailey is amazing. I never feel pressured into a service or purchase and the whole clinic is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've struggled with my vision for years and am finally getting proper care that actually addresses the real issues and not just the surface stuff.
I’ll be honest I’ve been so busy with life I haven’t been able to consistently deal with this place however I still think my experience has been ridiculous. Firstly let me clarify, the staff are extremely nice and professional I have no complaints against them. My complaint is against the procedure. Let’s make something very clear here that I didn’t know before first coming here two years ago. The eye doctor you will see IS VIRTUAL. Your entire eye appointment will consist of you being in a small dark room talking to multiple people over zoom, the front desk receptionist will occasionally come in to fiddle with some things or wait with you while you wait for the results but you won’t be seeing any eye doctor in person. The only time I saw anyone in person was when this random man came from out of nowhere and started helping me with my prescription which is another story. I will say that this experience has definitely taught me that I prefer the traditional route because it’s almost two years later and my prescription is still not right. I have gone to this place at least 10 times trying to fix my prescriptions, specifically my contact prescriptions which I still don’t even have simply because I gave up. My glasses were okay but I had to get them changed like twice. I’m still paying over $600 in care credit bills (not including insurance) and I don’t even have my contacts. My glasses, bless their heart, are lost to the wind. The contact procedure seemed like a simple one until you realize it isn’t. They give you test contacts and then you use them for a week come back and tell them if they work. I don’t know about you but I don’t have time to test multiple pairs of contacts and continuously come back over and over again. And let me clarify, they NEVER got my contact prescriptions right, I had to give the mysterious man from the back my old prescription from my previous eye doctor and what do you know? They were prefect but even then he didn’t want to use it (probably because of the embarrassment) So he adjusted them slightly and told me to go test those. That was probably over 8 months ago and I haven’t gone back I’ve been too busy. I work full time, take care of ill family, and every time you turn around there’s a holiday and birthday. Running up here 10 times for an appointment that happened in February two years ago is ridiculous. I asked for a refund and they said they couldn’t give me a refund but they’d be happy to keep adjusting my prescription until it’s right. Smh It’s extremely disappointing because I had high hopes for this place especially because I initially liked the fact that you get your prescription glasses right away but considering my experience I think I’d rather wait two weeks if that means they’ll get it correct the first time. And to clarify again. I still do not have my contacts!
Saturday hours are a definite positive. Virtual eye exams are in my opinion a strong negative. Less of a personal feel and not a place I would want to continue coming back to over and over unless in a real pinch. Grateful I was able to be seen on a Saturday when I could not come any other time. Price of the eye examination itself was fair, but I was severely overcharged for a set of single contacts to which were not my first preference. If virtual eye exams are your thing, maybe this place is for you. If you are looking to build a long-term relationship with a doctor, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The office itself was very clean and modern.
My son needed glasses because his had been broken for so long and we went here and they were so friendly. Showed us exactly what we needed and then made the glasses in under 15 mins! I have never gotten glasses somewhere where we didn't have to come back in a week. Amazing! So happy with the results and again the staff and the doctor were so friendly and helpful! 100% recommend!!
