A few years ago, I came in with a referral because my hemoglobin was dangerously low and I was genuinely sick. Somewhere in the scheduling process, my appointment was coded incorrectly, and instead of being seen for the issue I was referred for, it was set up as an appointment to establish a primary care relationship. The physician walked in ready to introduce herself as my new doctor, only to realize the mistake. She was young and clearly overwhelmed, and the disappointment on her face was immediate. She even said I was supposed to be her “easy appointment” that day. It was such a human reaction that I almost felt for her, but in that moment — when I needed care, clarity, and calm — it left me feeling unseen and out of place. Because of that experience, I chose not to return.

Amy Hawthorn was fantastic very thorough and took the time to explain things. She was very helpful in communicating the plan. I would be happy to see her again and recommend anyone to see her. Her nurse was also very helpful she took the time to ask lots of questions while getting to know me as a person! The experience felt authentic and not corporate. Thank you

Dr. Macalpine and his nursing and front desk staff are exceptional. When Dr. Macalpine's nurse heard that I was having major surgery, she offered to switch my yearly appointment date without me asking, knowing that I would still be healing after my surgery. At the front desk, they let me know immediately today why my appointment was running late, to which I understand, procedures can always run longer than expected. The nurse that saw me today, I felt that she heard me and related to me with her own experiences, to which I was able to feel more at ease about. Dr, Macalpine, after trying various non pharmaceutical treatments, finally guided me to what has helped my psoriasis, and 5 years later, I am still in remission.

Dr.Thuku provides exceptional patient care. He is sincere and genuine when listening and responding to my complaints and concerns. The entire staff from the receptionists, assistants, and his nurses are always kind, friendly and accommodating in every way. I always feel valued and cared for here as a patient. I am very grateful to have Dr.Thuku and his team to help manage my chronic migraines.

Dr. McAlpine is very professional. He makes you feel like your appt is important to him. He is considerate and does a good job of describing what he is going to do before proceeding. I would recommend him to anyone with complete confidence that you would get great care. Extremely knowledgeable .
