This whole experience has been awful. I have been wearing contacts for over 30 years. I was not given my script after my appointment. I had to come back to get it after ten days. When I made the appointment and confirmation call, there was no mention that the exam had to be paid in cash. Who has cash nowadays? That forced me to go buy something so I could pay for my exam. " go get something from the concession to get cash." .. what is this a way to gather more revenue? I still have to go pick up my script, and I am just dreading it. I am at the point of getting another exam somewhere else, so I don't have to deal with all the hoops. Oh, and on top of it, I get my script, but then I still have to order contacts. So, if you want contacts from Sam's, plan on doing this a month before you need your next pair.

Awful customer service from start to finish. They quoted me 7-10 days and it took over 2 weeks for my glasses to come in. No communication at all that the glasses were late, shipped, arrived, etc. I had to keep calling and finally found out my glasses had arrived. I went in the store to pick them up and after 2 weeks… they were the WRONG FRAMES. No apologies, no trying to fix the issue, nothing. I simply asked for a refund because I couldn’t wait another 2 weeks for glasses. When you’re dealing with people’s eyes/vision, you have to be extra diligent. The least they could have done is let me use the wrong glasses they ordered until the new ones made it in. Despite the frames being the best ones I found, I ultimately decided to go somewhere else that actually has decent customer service. I won’t be returning here again.

I have my prescription at this Sam’s club. Always used Sam’s cause of the great prices. Found another great perk today! While on vacation in GA I lost my glasses in the river. I called Sandra at Sam’s in DS and she called my prescription the the Walmart optical nearest me. They gave me a sample pair until I can get back to town. Thanks Sam’s!!

Genuinely the best optical center I have ever been to. The doctor is nice, works fast, and does a great job!

Never have I ever jumped through so many hoops for a contact eye exam!! Dr. Michael Cummings SUCKS!!
