I arrived for my 8am appointment at 7:52. The door had a sign flipped to closed. I wondered if I had messed something up because medical offices usually request you arrive 15 mins early for your first visit. I waited until 7:56 but the sign still showed closed. I thought maybe they’d inadvertently left the sign on closed so I decided to just try to go in. The door was unlocked so I walked in and the person working the front desk informed me that they were still closed. Confused, I said, “Oh, I have an appointment at 8”. She responded, “Well, we’re still closed.” I responded, “Would you like me to step out for 3 minutes?” She said, “No, but I’d prefer if you didn’t just walk in when the sign says closed.” I walked out and didn’t much feel like spending my money there so I left. I would suggest that they open 15 mins before the first appointment, keep the door locked if they don’t want any patients with an appointment in less than 5 minutes to enter, and be kind and understanding to patients who arrive at a completely appropriate time for their scheduled appointment.

I received a text from Snohomish Vision Clinic at 1:30 pm notifying me that my glasses were ready. I replied to the same number to ask what time they closed and was told they closed at 5:30. When I arrived at 5:17, I was told the office was already closed, and the front desk was dismissive when I tried to explain that I was acting on a text from the clinic itself. A frames specialist eventually assisted me, explained that the message had come from the Monroe branch, and apologized for the confusion. She was professional and kind, and I appreciated that she helped me despite the mix-up. I’d suggest clearer internal communication between branches and a more courteous front desk response when patients are acting on information provided by the clinic.

Fast, friendly, and good selection of glasses. In and out with a full eye exam, new glasses picked, and contacts ordered in 45 min. Been using Monroe Vision in Monroe for over 10 years and this location is equal in all ways with very convenient parking.

I like the doctor. I am going BLIND with glaucoma and haven't been able to get my eye medication since July. I have called my pharmacy, just like they tell you to. They tried to contact Dr. Schneider in July and have not received any response. I am getting scared. I called the clinic today and my pharmacy contacted them again but he won't be there for 2 more days. This is super important. I must be unimportant. When you are going blind, you feel hopeless but I thought I was in good hands. I don't know why he would ignore me.
