Very disappointed. Ordered new temples for my wingback sq frames. Was told I had to order 2 pairs for $66/pair; so I paid $132. Only 1 pair arrived and was told that was my full order. The screws they used to attach the new temples are too large(see pic). They stated the original Oakley screws disintegrate when removed from frame. The reps at store seemed not to have any ideas on how to solve issues properly, and instead blamed me for pointing out issues( Missing parts, screws too large). So LensCrafters, you need better quality on all fronts.

Reviews on Google 324
I’m writing on behalf of My husband Dominick Oppedisano who posted a review yesterday with his experience with the 50 percent promotion at the SONO mall south norwalk CT location. Google is not allowing him to post a follow-up review on his experience. I’m writing to follow up after my recent experience with LensCrafters, which unfortunately continues to be frustrating. After submitting a Google review, I appreciated the prompt response from corporate and the outreach indicating the store manager would contact me. When I spoke with the manager, she acknowledged that I had been misinformed and agreed to honor the 50% discount on the Prada glasses. I was relieved and thought the situation was being resolved. However, during that same call, after placing me on hold to process the order, I was quoted a total that was nearly $200 more than what I originally paid for the first pair. This was the first time it was explained that the 50% discount applies to full retail pricing, which was never disclosed at the time of my initial purchase or during my follow-up visit. Once again, I was told “that’s how it works,” but at no point was I given that information upfront. This is now the second instance of being misinformed, and it reflects a consistent lack of clear and transparent communication. At this point, it’s difficult to have confidence in the information being provided. As a result of this experience, my wife has canceled her upcoming appointment and we will be taking our business elsewhere. I would appreciate a clear and honest explanation of your promotional terms moving forward, but more importantly, I hope this feedback is taken seriously so other customers are not put in a similar position.
I had a really frustrating experience with LensCrafters. I purchased a pair of Prada eyeglasses and was clearly told at the time of purchase that they were running a promotion, come back within 30 days and get a second pair for 50% off. I specifically asked if I could get the exact same glasses again at that discount and was told yes. Fast forward a few weeks later, I go back expecting them to honor what I was told, and suddenly I’m told “Prada is excluded.” That was never mentioned during the original conversation. It feels like a classic bait-and-switch. If certain brands are excluded, that needs to be clearly communicated upfront , not after the sale when the customer comes back expecting the deal that was promised. Very disappointing experience and poor communication. I expected better transparency and professionalism.
This location has a great selection of glasses in all brands and price points. But most importantly, the service is fantastic. We always deal with Isaiah, who is very patient, knowledgeable, and has a great eye. We've been buying our glasses with him for over two years. Fantastic experience and customer service every time!
This LensCrafters (located inside the SoNo Collection mall) is huge and offers a wide array of designers and styles for customers to try on. It was great to be able to freely explore the selection without being hovered over + all of the frames were out on display and were not locked behind a glass case. Marissa worked with me and was lovely. She helped to confirm my insurance coverage, and was clear and descriptive about all the details around costs I would be responsible for. After I took time to select frames on my own, Marissa provided great perspective on various sizes, shapes and colors of different frames to help me narrow down to my final choices. Marissa was helpful, professional, incredibly patient, and an absolute pleasure to engage with throughout the entire process. Fingers crossed that pickup goes as smoothly as the process to shop & purchase.
