Dr. Richard Jolly, MD, Ophthalmologist, is a really good eye doctor. He explains all of details of your eyes exam in a way you can understand the exam. He is very courteous and professional. Also, the staff is very friendly and shows awesome hospitality.
Worst receptionist I have ever encountered. We had a bad experience several years ago when they gave my wife the wrong eyeglasses, and they never admitted their mistake. We thought of giving them another chance, but receptionist made us have another bad experience from the start with her cold response. Not going back.
After having such a horrible experience with Gainesville Optical last year, I was very hesitant about another local optometrist. But Dr Lana Hess definitely deserves 5🌟! Very professional and caring. I don't think I have ever had a prescription that made my vision so clear. Thank you so much Dr. Hess! 10/10 would recommend!
Front desk required payment for eye exam before eye exam . When I asked for an itemized statement, they refused saying their Business Manager was on Vacation and wouldn’t get until she returns. Lana Hess is a great Optometrist but her front desk people are rude. To pay for services before seen and told by staff no itemized statement until business manager returns is a violation of HIPPA act,, the no surprise act, and state transparency law. I canceled appointment. Last year for my yearly I had to demand an itemized bill. I had hoped with receiving bill the staff would have been more respectful. I’m reporting to proper authorities to have them reviewed.
Best place in Gainesville for an eye exam & getting glasses. Staff were very helpful & professional. Doctors were very informative. Highly recommend! Their surgery coordinator Fabiola was an absolute joy to deal with regarding my cataract surgery! She is so helpful!
