It's is amazing that this place is still around with such horrible people working there. I was "greeted" by a young woman with a permanent scowl. She never made eye contact, never smiled, treated me like an annoyance instead of a customer. As I was waiting for my appointment, an older woman walked in and literally looked down her nose at me before going to sit in the empty glasses showroom. So sorry to be a customer. I will not make that mistake again!

Competent employees; cold , impersonal atmosphere. I’ve done business there for years, but the atmosphere has always been cold. Even with a scheduled appointment, there’s always been a wait but, with the most recent visit, I walked out after waiting (and feeling forgotten) 33 minutes. Like I said, there’s never been a doubt about employees’ competence, but the feel of the out-front employees is cold and sterile. After I left, no apology, no call, nothing. I shouldn’t be surprised. Went to Eagan Eye Care the next day. Totally different atmosphere. I was greeted, saw plenty of smiles, got an exam, and left feeling cared for and valued. A whole different feel than Perle in Burnsville.
I LOVE my provider here, he is the absolute best (5 star worthy) and worth continuing coming to this location. If it wasn't for him I would not come here. Unfortunately, the staff has left much to be desired (2 star worthy). The only staff member that's decent is an older lady who is normally friendly. The others seem like you're bothering them and they are supposed to be helping you as a part of their job. The front desk lady was very flat, uninterested, and just bland. The young dark haired girl that helps with the glasses was the worst. She made it seem like I was bothering her. She was very cold and dismissive. I went elsewhere to get my glasses done because I did not want to change I would have to deal with her again. Picking glasses is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience but she turned me off.
In February 2025, I purchased eyeglasses from Pearle Vision. After receiving the glasses, I began experiencing severe, debilitating headaches when wearing them. Within the allowed return/exchange timeframe, I returned to the store a couple of weeks later to address the issue and seek assistance. I explained the problem and asked whether I could exchange the glasses or make adjustments so I could have a pair that I am able to wear comfortably. During that visit, I was told by a salesperson that the issue was my fault for not selecting “thicker frames,” despite this not being explained to me at the time of purchase. I was not informed that frame choice could result in this type of issue or that a different selection might be necessary for comfort or proper fit. When I asked about an exchange or any possible resolution, I was told that nothing could be done, even though I was still within the return/exchange period.
My husband and I each just got new glasses at Pearle Vision at Burnsville Center. Gina was friendly, efficient and so helpful in the entire process from placing the order through making the minor fitting adjustments when we picked up our glasses. This was the third time I have bought glasses here over the past 6 years and each time I have had a great experience!
