Front Desk extremely rude. As a new person to Austin. I was not expecting the location in the hospital to be challenging to find parking and the actual suite. I walked in she yelled do you have an appointment! I said yes. She said she marked me a no show. In a typical normal low voice fashion because it was quite in there and 3 people waiting ahead of me. I explained I was 5 minutes late because I had to park on the opposite side of the building and I went into the emergency entrance. Which was wrong and I had to walk around the whole building in the rain. I asked why did you cancel me it’s only 5 minutes late after. She went on a rant. Slammed her clipboard down. Well you’re a new patient and no paperwork that’s why. She then yelled looked at me crazy. Well are we doing this. I was shocked I said yes we are. I’m here. In a demanding voice she asked for my DL and insurance. I begin to get these items. I said. You know what. I’m not doing this. (I don’t want to be “cared for”” as this is an industry that is suppose to care because people are coming with physical issues) I look around the room. I said I’m doing both of us a favor. I’m leaving have a good day! The way she is rude and dismissive is utterly unprofessional. I am in my car looking up reviews and yup lots and lots of issues with the front desk women. Do better!!! Be better.!!! Oh If I could do -5 stars I would! This is a healthcare provider!!!! Allowing this type of behavior is appalling!

I had a great experience from beginning to end at Premier Eye Care. I felt that each staff member took their jobs seriously and spent more than the expected amount of time with me. I was especially appreciative of Aaron's knowledge and professionalism while choosing new frames in their optical department. I LOVE my new glasses - thanks, Aaron! :) I will return to Premier for my next exam.
I had a very disappointing experience with Premier Eye Care. I called trying to get information and the receptionist hung up on me. When I called back, she told me she couldn’t understand anything I was saying. English is my second language, so I slowed down and tried my best to communicate clearly, but she still wouldn’t let me explain myself and continued being extremely rude. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable the entire time. No one should be treated that way for having an accent or speaking English as a second language. Customer service should be patient and respectful, especially in a healthcare office. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all.
BUYERS BEWARE of this optical shop and the optician with the name Aaron. My father (70 yrs old) went and had an eye exam and afterwards was directed to the optical shop to pick out new glasses. He was directed to a Rayban frame and sold lenses that were the most expensive progressive (no line), transitions(turn into sunglasses), polycarbonate(lens material) all for a WHOPPING price of $850.00!! (This is with a 15% discount) And don’t forget to include the $170.00 exam! Nothing was explained to my father that he had options for a less expensive option or even the option to take the prescription elsewhere. He felt taken advantage of so MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE you walk out of this place because it will not be offered to you. And ALL SALES ARE FINAL even if you don’t understand the optical lingo!
My husband and I have had Dr. Brent as our ophthalmologist and we are pleased. My husband's first visit resulted in an extensive examination and the identification of glaucoma. Dr. Brent also recommended an excellent cataract surgeon. We are thankful for Dr. Brent's expertise and genuine care for his patients. We recommend this caring team of doctors, staff, and the in-office glasses shop. Eric was helpful and knew my insurance well. They are top notch!
