Great overall experience! This location got us scheduled quickly and when we arrived we didn’t wait long at all. The Doctor was amazing with my daughter and got her updated prescription perfect! The staff who helped assist in choosing frames were VERY patient, (we were there after closing hours) as my daughter was very indecisive but found the perfect frame. We will always come back to this location.

Everyone has a bad day, and I understand that. However, my visit for having triple vision in my left eye, after buying new glasses, is concerning. I was adjusting to trifocals. I honestly attributed my fuzzy vision to this, but as it worsened, I called the office for a directive. I was told there was only one doc, and my appointment was made for the following week. Understand, the receptionist made the plan when I explained my eye being blurry. At the scheduled appointment, the doc pulled me back, but he was clearly stressed out. He said I should have met with a technician, not him. He was impatient and very short with me. Asked why I didnt come in sooner. I thought, wow, do you have a minute because I have had a lot going on as I was recently diagnosed with Gastroparesis. Ive been very ill. The doc did a few tests, but he was overwrought, obviously. I couldn't see out of left eye and had problems reading the chart. He asked me to guess, and to work with him. My first exam was in November. The eye tech who took me back was very nice, but had someone else's chart and I laughed after she called me something besides my name. I wasnt mad, I was understanding. I paid 400 dollars for one pair of glasses. I was told I would get a free pair of readers and sample eye drops, which I never received. I blew it off. I had also explained that i have such dryness that I couldnt open eyes in the morning, but was also told my eyes were healthy. No eye dilation done at either appointment. Mind you, I had explained that I was having trouble driving, especially at night. Im on Medicaid. And part of me wonders if this was why I was treated as I was. Seriously. Plus, if im on Medicaid, I really cant afford expensive glasses. But of course that was what I was shown. I felt embarassed. Throwing in readers for " free" was supposed to alleviate my cost for everything. Its hilarious, I never got the readers or eye drops, and I keep being told dry eyes are normal in Nevada. But its been so bad. I explained that one night I was out after dark and had to pull over because I couldnt see. I was crying even. But the doc said my eyes were fantastic. Healthy. Turned out I have a cataract, supposedly. I asked if he could actually see it, he said yes I was referred out to a surgeon. At this point, I dont know if I can trust anything from this office. Im 58 years old and never have had a cataract. Leading up to the discovery, I was in suffrage. I clearly was not wanted at this office. And again, I think the doc was spread thin so I give grace for that. But this was so hurtful and disappointing.

Dr. Mathew Moerdick was informative, friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Probably the best eye we’ve ever had! What a great personality he actually made the visit enjoyable. I’m definitely going back there and I highly recommend him. My husband has diabetes and he had to send him to a retinal specialist. He was honest about my husband deteriorating eye condition.. Glad we went to see him 1st.

Great experience ! They were on time for my scheduled appointment. Very thorough in explaining what tests they were running and why. I liked that they told me what my insurance covered and what my options were. I couldn’t really decide what I wanted to do and they did not pressure me to buy the glasses at that appointment. I will go back..
