Had a great experience for my eye exam. Everyone working here is from the year 1756. They wished me “blessed greetings” upon my arrival. Staff were professionally dressed in either buckle-clasped, knee-length breeches with cotton stockings or stylish gowns and petticoats. Everyone wore impressively flamboyant hats, as it was a hot June afternoon and the sun was bearing down, even inside the modern facility. Aubrey was particularly helpful to me in selecting a pair of glasses, or as she called them, “rather dashing spectacles”. Although I was indecisive and anxious to make a selection, she was patient and encouraging. Upon leaving, the staff, in unison, waved and wished me a most pleasant afternoon. Overall it was a bewildering but really good experience.
