Summit Eye Care

I have been going to Summit Eye Care for a little over 3 years. My cataract surgery with Dr Khemsara was a difficult case without going into great detail. It was no fault of the Dr, but, Dr Khemsara knew exactly what to do and how to save my vision. I am thankful that I have him for a Dr and I also see Henry Black sometimes. He is also very knowledgeable and caring about his patients. I would highly recommend both of them! All of the staff has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and caring!

I have been a patient of Dr. Khemsara for over 10 years, and he is truly an excellent doctor who has done wonders for my eye condition. I originally switched to him because the wait times at Duke Center in Winston-Salem were unbearable—often 1.5 to 2 hours. Unfortunately, my experience today at Summit Eye Care was exactly the same. My appointment was scheduled for 2:10 PM, but I was initially told the wait would be about an hour. When I mentioned that there was no seating available and that the wait would likely be longer, the staff confirmed it would probably be closer to 1.5 hours. This level of delay is completely unacceptable. While Dr. Khemsara is fantastic, the office management is doing a very poor job of scheduling and patient flow. I rescheduled my appointment to give them one more chance, but if things do not improve by my next visit, I will have no choice but to find a new doctor and escalate my complaint. It is also worth noting that at least two other patients were rescheduling their appointments today for the exact same reason.

I am proceeding with cataract surgery in two weeks and I am looking forward to it! My experience has been exceptional. From my initial visit last year to my cataract evaluation now. I have met with Leslie and she is very knowledgeable, answered my questions. I feel comfortable with the information she has presented me with. I am a bit apprehensive about my surgery but, also very excited! I would highly recommend Dr. Khemsara. The staff has treated me so well and I feel part of the Summit eye care Family.

I’ve had both of my cataract surgeries with Dr. Khemsara and had a great experience. The staff treated me very good throughout my whole process. I’m glad my doctor referred me to Summit Eye Care. I will continue care with Dr. Khemsara for my medical eye care. I can see so much better now! My wife is now proceeding with cataract surgery and it was nice meeting with Leslie once again. The process has been smooth and we are looking forward to her surgery.

I have been going to Summit Eyecare for 10 years. Dr. Biggs is honestly a whole vibe. Every visit feels less like a typical appointment and more like a real conversation. We joke, we laugh, but when it’s time to get serious, he does not miss. I had a question that wasn’t exactly simple, and instead of brushing it off or giving me a quick answer, he really took his time and walked me through it in a way I could actually understand. That meant a lot to me. It’s clear he knows his stuff, but more importantly, he cares about making sure I understand it too. It’s the perfect balance fun, easygoing energy, but still super professional where it counts. I always leave feeling heard, helped, and like I got exactly what I needed. 10/10, highly recommend.
