Target Optical

Nothing but great experiences when I visit my Matthews Target optical location! It's never a dull moment: many laughs!! Shout out to the store manager and my little purple haired fairy they are always pleasant🌺💞

I am writing this review for two visits: one that occurred yesterday, and another that occurred in / around March 1, 2026. Jennifer assisted my grandparents and I both times. My grandparents' primary language is Polish and, although English is a viable second language for them and they have used it over 30 years, it can sometimes pose a challenge when speaking about technical details or medical information (such as eye glasses, insurance, or, in this case, Nuance Audio). Jennifer took it all in stride. One of the only interactions in this space (medical, optical) where I felt as if my presence was not necessary (which is reassuring for those times I cannot get out of work or my other obligations to assist them). Further, Jennifer very clearly is both knowledgeable, adaptable, and willing to help anyone with their needs. She took care of us quickly without feeling rushed. She ensured all our needs were met without feeling pestered or that we were inconveniencing her, and she was able to bounce between us and other things in the store without making us feel neglected. She could teach a Master Class on both customer service / interpersonal skills and good team management. It is clear that she has both the confidence and trust of her patrons as well as her colleagues. I hope that she is appreciated as much by Target Optical as she is by my family, and the multitudes of others I have seen her assist (without blinking an eye or breaking a sweat).

Tabitha was so very helpful to me in choosing new frames. She was friendly and also professional as I was trying to decide between 2 different frames. She was very efficient in placing the order. I would recommend Target Optical because of her.

I can’t say enough great things about Jennifer! She has been helping my family for over 10 years, and every single experience with her has been exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes the time to make sure you find exactly what you need—whether it’s contacts or glasses. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers this level of service year after year. Jennifer is a huge reason we continue coming back, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our eye care needs. Highly recommend!
